The International Movie Data Base (IMDb) is in need of Freeping as well. I went to their Fahrenheit 9/11 movie page and this is the result of the ratings vote for this piece of trash.
Votes Percentage Rating
1070 66.3% 10
52 3.2% 9
9 0.6% 8
4 0.2% 7
2 0.1% 6
5 0.3% 5
4 0.2% 4
4 0.2% 3
32 2.0% 2
432 26.8% 1
You have to be a member to vote. I've been voting here for about 4 years. It not hard to sign up. It's free and they won't bother you down the road. So far 1070 give it a 10 and 432 give it a 1. There appears to be no middle ground. Wouldn't be hard for Freepers to turn this around. I use this site to help decide if a movie is worth seeing.
Out of honesty, I could never vote for the movie. Which is why it'll get a decent rating: Anyone who would even go to such a movie would rate it as a ten just to promote the movie itself.
I'm delighted to finally read that Bradbury is asking for his title back. A big infringment if you ask me to use the authors title without permission simply by changing the numbers.
To the extent that people hear something about it and look it up and it has a poor rating it is helpful.
Apparently they update the vote tally once a day. I hope tomorrow we see more FReeper votes.
More important than voting on this movie, is that everyone gets out and votes on election day.
The current issue of Playboy Magazine "features" an interview with Moore. Here is a copy of the letter I just emailed to Playboy. Nothing I have done or will do on this lovely Father's Day will make my day more than this:
Dear Playboy:
I have been a subscriber to your magazine for over 30 years. After having seen that, in this month's issue, you chose to give a forum to Michael Moore by featuring him in your Interview, I am afraid that this is where we must part ways. Moore is a vile, contemptible anti-American who attempts to disguise his spew of pure propaganda by calling it journalism. You have a bona-fide First Amendment right to print whatever you please. I am exercising my right to ignore you. Please refund the unused balance of my subscription payment. Upon receipt, I will forward it to the George W. Bush re-election campaign.
Sincerely yours,
(name and address)
Exactly. It's dishonest to rate it if you haven't even seen it. Who would pay to see a movie that, just based on publicly-available info about it, is going to be so deceptive?
GAG ALERT!

I voted it a 10, voted Passion of Christ 1, and reminded you guys that Ronald Reagan is roasting in hell now. Also, what is a ZOT? It sounds like something that comes out of Jim Robinson's butt.
I don't vote for films I have not seen.
Is that you Ron Jr.? Boy are you butt ugly...speaking of butts.
You gave up boobs for Bush? ;-) Seriously, nice letter.
Actually I wouldn't mind if the M. Moore fans stayed home on election day.
You know what...if you showed an anti-Clinton movie at an NRA movie you'd get the same reaction.
Did anyone notice that the average for US users on this poll is a 5.2 (out of 10) while it is 8.5 for non-US users?
Saw part of a cnn report on the movie last night, (just flipping past). They said "This will be the most talked about movie of the year!" Ha, I don't think it will come close in that dept to The Passion
I voted it a "1". Too bad we can't give it a "zero".
