LIVE THREAD! President and Laura Bush: Larry King Live 8/12
8/12/04

Posted on 08/12/2004 5:35:48 PM PDT by Timeout

George and Laura Bush to be on with Larry King for the full hour tonight. I don't usually watch LKL because of his lame questions. But it should be interesting.

Thanks - I was about to go out for my evening walk. I'm tending a kitty who had to have leg amputated last week. He's on my lap, purring, right now. So, I'm happy to give up the nightly routine.

It's usually easy to give up the screaming shows.

If I have to watch Larry to see the President, it sure beats watching Colmes to see Hannity.

Does anyone know how "hole in one" spells his/her screen name? I want to do a ping so maybe we can get screen caps.

It reminds me of long car trips, stopping and letting the kids run around to burn off some energy.

There's an immature quality to Kerry when he acts like himself.

I think Teresa recognizes it, given her bored, frustrated stares shen she is force to hang around John while he plays with his toys.

You can go to MSN.com and go to "entertainment", then "TV". After you put in your zip code and cable info, it will give you your tv lineup.

That "Don't you think you should apologize" was so insulting. Nothing suprpises me about these lefties.

That's pretty much the standard line for any liberal media interview with President Bush anymore -

"Don't you think you should apologize for stealing the 2000 election"?
"Don't you think you should apologize for letting 9/11 happen so your oil buddies could get rich?"
"Don't you think you should apologize for invading Afgahnistan so Halliburton could install an oil pipeline?"
"Don't you think you should apologize for invading Iraq so you could clean up Daddy's unfinished business (and award contracts to Halliburton)?"
"Don't you think you should apologize for Abu Ghraib, the absolute worst atrocity ever committed anywhere in the world at any time in history?"
"Don't you think you should apologize for [insert leftist whiny rant of the day here]?"

And they wonder why he doesn't grant them very many interviews.

WOW thanks for the reminder.

The President was here today in Vegas. He had a cool crowd, filled with union folk that wanted to show a tough shell. Many refused to clap or acknowledge him. Boy did they look stupid!

They just came from visiting Nancy Reagan, who has strongly endorsed President Bush and he says he is grateful.

They say she is doing well after losing her husband.

President Bush said the country responded in such a powerful that it helped her a lot. President Bush notes Reagan will go down in history as a great president.

LK wants to know what GWB makes of all the hate.

GWB says it's loud but doesn't represent the majority.

Larry bringing up the level of uncivility in the country. GWB doesn't think that represents the majority of Americans.

King pointed out that Nancy Reagan is stating that she is giving Bush her full backing for President.

Twinkle toes Ron Jr. must be in tears.
