Howlin started a Live Thread September 10, 2004 to see what Dan would say. He told us his report was the facts and nothing but the facts.
Well, it is now Monday, the 13th. What will Dan say today?
I am watching the local news here in NYC - just saw the local reporters talk to Dan about what is coming up. He didn't mention the scandal to her, but said something cryptic like it's a very full report.
Even better was her reply - "Take care of that voice Dan - maybe too many hurricanes"
I expect him to say nothing of the forgery and to continue to press the attack on Bush with the campaign docs that Drudge just shot down.

Out of hundreds of things against him, Rather will report on the one thing that backs his story. Or he'll cast doubt - using (liberal) experts - against those who stand against him. Maybe he'll uncover an early typewriter with a "th" on one key -- or that'll be saved for Friday -- Either way it'll ring hollow. Rather's a fool, he's been used or he's one of the gang. I have no idea which. Anyone?
My guess is he won't be on tonight. Someone will be filling in for him. If I win, do I get a prize?

He will not mention it but he will be in a fetal position. He now knows he cannot win this fight. He is a pathetic loser who has no life without this job. He will do anything to survive the storm. CBS will try to tough it out, but they will be the object of derision. CBS the network of fakes, frauds, and old farts.
It'll be 53 minutes of Dan staring silently at the camera and seven minutes of ads.
