Freerepublic is "Radical" says MSNBC guest, Buckhead mentioned

Freerepublic was just called "radical" by a guest on MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Buckhead was mentioned again. They are also discussing conspiracy theories, blogs, and the usual chatter on Dan Rather's nosedive into silliness.

Ahhh...MSNBC isn't all bad...Joe Scarborough had Howard Fineman and Pat Buchanan and they were all blasting this new Kerry Konnection, Joe Lockhart and Max Cleland's suspicious part. He also had Jon Klein on, fmr. CBS News VP, who said a LOT of butt needed to be kicked at CBS.

Joe himself was suggesting Heyward should resign and put Burkett's email up on screen where he explains his conversation with Cleland.
Burkett: "I asked if they wanted to counterattack or ride this to ground and outlast it, not spending any money. Cleland said counterattack. So I gave them the information to do it with."

He also had Linda James on, the forensic examiner who was contacted by CBS on Sept. 3, and she examined them and told them she saw major problems with them, the signatures and the superscript font thing. CBS never got back to her after her analysis (surprise).

Joe a few nights ago said nice stuff about how great the blogger revolution and Dan Abrams talked about it tonite.

Fact is a lot of authors use non de plumes (whatever, you see I have no French). It allows more freedom of expression.

For example, Benjamin Franklin.

While leftists always l ike to claim they are in the middle, I don't claim to be a moderate. I don't like the term radical, I prefer the term extremist, because it sounds cooler.

Using their real names sure as hell didn't make them more adept at doing some actual investigative reporting when they got their hands on those forged memos. It took the pajama-clad online FReepers and bloggers with their pseudonyms to notice the glaringly obvious fraud staring everybody right in the face.

RADICAL???

I thought we were EXTREMIST!!!!!

I don't want to be any part of a right-wing site that's just merely RADICAL......

I am deeply, deeply saddened by this. And disturbed and troubled and all that stuff.

We are radicals.

We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights. That among these are life, liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.

We are radicals.

We solemnly swear to support, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, against all enemies foreign and domestic.

We are radicals.

Everything they say we are, we are (And we are very proud of ourselves)

We are radicals.

And appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions ... with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.

We are Americans, the original radicals.
