New movie about Ronald Reagan's fight against evil opening in October
In The Face of Evil.com ^

"The must-see movie of the season...disturbing and deeply-moving...I found myself weeping" - Maggie Gallagher - NEW YORK POST

"A brilliant effort...extremely well done." - Rush Limbaugh - The Rush Limbaugh Show

“ A powerful portrayal of a critical point in history that exposes the intensity of the struggle against communism and President Reagan’s campaign for victory. As someone who had lived these times, I was very moved by the detail and emotion in which they were brought out on film. The lessons of our struggle against the evil empire are more relevant than ever in regards to the conflict of today’s world.” - Lech Walesa - Nobel Laurite and former President of Poland

“This brilliantly-crafted film not only details how Ronald Reagan’s vision and uncompromising courage secured the future of the United States by ending Soviet Communism, it also reveals the heart and soul of a great man and his faith in God, the American people and our way of life. On many levels, the message of this picture moved me as an American and as a patriot, as ‘The Passion of Christ’ moved me as a Christian.” Senator Rick Santorum - Pennsylvania - Chairman of The Republican Conference

“In the Face of Evil is an extraordinarily accurate depiction of a brilliant man who brought down the Soviet Empire” Judge William Clark - National Security Advisor to President Reagan

This movie starts showing in October in theatres. I found out about it in church this morning. There was a sneak preview held locally that pastors were invited to. While I obviously haven't seen the movie yet, based on the website, this may be our best response to Michael Moore and his Farenheit 911. It might be a last minute reminder about how we deal with evil from the man who won the cold war. It's not about appeasing the enemy. Its about standing and acting on solid values. The website has a neat election countdown clock as well.

Thanks for the link - I hadn't yet heard of it.

I'm sure it will be the talk of talk radio this week.

I've read the book this movie is based on, "Reagan's War." This movie will be incredible! Thanks for posting!

Could this be a bit of an even bigger boost to the Bush campaign? Great timing!

I think it could be a major boost. It's really important if it reminds people that we can win the war on terror. People believed that we were in a stalemate staredown with communism that we couldn't win. We could block them. We could keep them out of our sphere's but we couldn't defeat it. Ronald Reagan showed that we can. Stand firm, take action. We Will Win!

I'm sure Kerry's folks don't want people seeing this movie

the site looks like it's only opening in Texas. I hope this can break out all over the country, with extra showings in say, Massachussets!

Now the hippy traitors will know how it feels! This time a movie will have an impact on the election - because it is based on truth not stalinist lies!

I've been talking to a liberal who doesn't believe that Reagan won the cold war. This person believes that the Soviet Union collapsed by itself and would have done so even without Reagan's military build-up.

I guess some people just have the liberal fog hard-set in their eyes, but I really would like to clear this person's vision.

I recently read a piece here about Guadal Canal in WWII which was interesting. The Guadal Canal was expected to be an easy, but minor, victory; it turned out to be a much more difficult, but much more major, victory since the Japanese spent an unexpectedly-large amount of resources defending it.

The Iraq war is more difficult than expected, but probably for basically the same reason: there are a lot of nasty people all over the world who want to foil our efforts there. If we surrender, the nasty people all over the world will be emboldened, but if we win they will be severely crippled.

The nasty people's strategy is intended to make us back down. If we do, they win. But if we don't, the fact that our enemies have adopted this strategy can be used to our enormous advantage. Tactically it may hurt, but in the long run it will be a major victory.

You're absolutely right. It is harder. But here's the point. The terrorists are coming in from outside Iraq, right perfectly positioned for us to take them out. We are perfectly positioned to fight them there.

The liberals and the media seem to forget, manpower, and finances (that they have to have to carry out their terrorism) are limited resources. It's limited for us too, but we can put a great deal more into it than they can. If they're spending it there, it will limit what the can spend elsewhere. I think Iraq is a good place to make a stand and take the fight to our enemy.

Not to mention that the best the left could come up with was that pseudo-documentary, Farhenheit 9/11. We've already had The Passion of the Christ.

The left can't deal with truth. I hope this movie opens countrywide. I'm tired of the lefty lies that covered President Reagan's awesom foreign policy acheivements.

Guess we'll know soon how much the left fears this movie if we start hearing the hateful editorials by people who've never even seen it. If nothing else, the totally propagandized Iran/Cantra will be brought up.

"This person believes that the Soviet Union collapsed by itself and would have done so even without Reagan's military build-up."

The Soviet Union was teetering on teh brink of collapse for 20 years before President Reagan delivered the coup de gras by terrifying Gorbechev with the spector of Star Wars. Without that and his other foreign policy moves, the Soviet Union would have CONTINUED on the brink of collapse to this day.

Your liberal aquaintance forgets that the Soviet public was tired of freezing in their rabbit-hutch-sized apartments while wondering when the middle of the night callers would come to take THEM away. President Reagan was loved and admired Soviet Union as the American cowboy fighting, old West-style, for the little guy. Gorbechev - well, he wasn't very well liked.

Someday, you might also tell him that the problems of socialism have NOT been ironed out by the "progressives". Waco proves that.

What I've tried to tell this person is that the fact that something bad can be stopped easily in no way implies that it will not do a lot of damage unless or until it is stopped. Somehow the message doesn't sink in.

Having been a liberal myself once, I can understand how the mind's defenses work. This person actually suggested that perhaps Killian typed the "CBS documents" into a computer file and then printed them out sometime later after printing technology had improved. Why anyone would have typed a "memo to file" onto punched cards or paper tape I can't exactly fathom, but maybe anything's possible.

Someday, you might also tell him that the problems of socialism have NOT been ironed out by the "progressives". Waco proves that.

If you blame Waco on "progressives", the on what or whom do you blame Ruby Ridge?

If it's half as good as the book it's based on (Reagan's War), it'll be one terrific film.

Betcha those sissified film guys will give it two middle fingers up.
