Jeb Fights Back (Take that, Jimmy)

JEB FIGHTS BACK Mon Sep 27 2004 20:33:05 ET

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's office yesterday said charges by former President Jimmy Carter that the state is "likely" to have a repetition of the voting problems that plagued the 2000 election are politically motivated by Democrats intent on undermining voter confidence in the state.

The WASHINGTON TIMES's Joe Curl will report on Tuesday: State officials also said the former president made no attempt to get up-to-date information before writing an opinion piece and never tried to contact the governor's office or that of Secretary of State Glenda Hood.

"This is a shockingly partisan opinion piece and it's unfortunate that a person such as the former president is being used by the Democratic Party for low-level political rhetoric," said Jacob DiPietre, press secretary for Gov. Jeb Bush.

Carter our worse ex-President........is a national disgrace. Why he thinks he is qualified to pass judgment on anything is beyond me. I still remember the long gas lines and high interest rates during is armpit administration How he gave away the Panama Cannel. How he treated the Shaw of Iran, how Ayatollah Khomeini kicked his ass and his wimp like attempt to free American hostages.

Something happened to Carter when he went to the Whitehouse.
To me he is one of the greatest personable mysteries walking this planet, and he seems to be trying to walk this planet, almost "to and fro" I would say.

I am not impressed with Carter's brand of "Christianity." It certainly does not seem very charitable.

Who cares what one of the U.S.'s worst President's has to say anyway. He rates lower than Ford IMO.

I just sent them this:

Re: Mr. Carter's Comments about the Florida Voting

Dear Mr. Carter:

May I make a suggestion? SHUT UP! We have enough problems in this country without you trying to undermine our elections and the confidence that the people have in our government by declaring our elections to be fraudulent before we even vote!

I am sorry that I voted for you in 1976, and even more sorry that I worked for your campaign. You obviously do not have a clue.

Sincerely,

Brilliant (actually used my real name)

I like what Norman Liebmann at Firehat.com has to say about Jimmy's Habitats for humanity, where he got the brilliant idea to attach front porches to outhouses.

but my big question is this? Does he really love Hitler, but can't say so cause it's not OK to love Hitler? After all, he loves Castro, Chavez, and the rest. Only a dark, sick SOB could want to rub elbows with someone who dominates other humans the way Castro has.

Anyone notice that Democrat ex-Presidents can never become true statesmen, retire to their home towns and live off their great achievements? Oooooops! Now we know why they can't. Their legacy was one of selling out America at every turn.

He's really gone over the top now, though, declaring the US election to be fraudulent even before we have it.

carter is scum. Sad to say about a former president, but rigging elections in favor of despots, arming N. Korea with nukes, and being friends with Michael Moore....Scum.

There have been election irregularities in Florida already: Dems trying to keep Ralph Nader off the ballot.

Great example and proof the Democrats don't want a fair election. They want one slanted in their favor.

An executive with an electronic voting machine company told me that his firm's machines, which had been used in Venezuela for several years, was replaced by electronic voting machines made by a company that is majority owned by the Venezuelan government.

Is there any wonder that opponents are screaming fraud. And to think Carter certified that fiasco.

Jimmy Carter has done more economic damage to the U.S. than the 9/11 attack.

That is the absolute truth although most people aren't aware of it. He did grievous damage to the maritime industry. I know, I have lived (and suffered) through it.

Personally, I don't like the electronic voting either. It's Democratic plot to steal the election. Afterall, it was their idea to change the system.

Jimmy Carter needs to bend over so that his liberal friends can really grease him up for some more foolishness talking.

Some say Jimmy has lost his ability to think for himself, so Kerry tells him how he can help him to win, but I think the man is illiterate myself! Just like all the liberals who believe in the trash of the liberal agenda! Brain washed is more like it!
