And what should the response of conservative people be when the loony-left finally caves in it to its violent impulses. Same as it always is, go to work, pay our bills and raise our kids. Unfortunately there will come a point where that is not the correct path and we need to fight back.

For now, we have to hope that the security and law enforcement people are up to their jobs. If not, we would be headed for calamity. Like you, I worry that one of these hate-filled leftists will make himself a hero to his sick compatriots by trying some act of violence.

I am SO thankful that God is protecting our President from these evil, filthy swine.
Keep praying for him! These people are insane.

Gag Rule: On the Suppression of Dissent and The Stifling of Democracy (Lewis Lapham) Is it me , or it is not odd to see this title in a list of about 5 million books bashing the President.

Young people go for it because they have bought into the myths
Young people are overwhelmingly becoming Republicans according to recent polls. I think it's because young people have a more simplistic view of the world. If someone commits mass-murder against your fellow citizens, kills children, and films be-headings, the reaction of young people is "you go and kill all those people, and those that support them." That's why the Dems are so desperate to reinstate the draft. They think that if they get the draft reinstated, young people will go back to joining the Democratic party, instead of the GOP.
Aging hippies can feel young again.
Aging hippies, like Dan Rather and John Kerry, evidently have not had a new idea since the 1960's. Their brains have been permanently frozen at that point of time.

This is all reminiscent of the steady poisoning of the body politic in 1920s/30s Germany. The cynical redirection of people's frustrations, disappointments, resentments and envy toward The Enemy. In that case, it was the Jews. Today, in America, it's the Right Wingers -- not just the President, but his supporters as well. That's us. You and me.

The hate stems from this man and the mental deviants running the RAT party right now.
To: quidnunc
This level of hatred is absolutely insane, and will result in violence at some point, at which time the principal abettors will gasp "how did we ever come to this?" and promptly blame Bush. They were like this against Reagan, too, but it was never this virulent. Be glad we're the armed side, because these people have completely left the rails.

And to think poor, hapless Gerald R. Ford did not even serve a full term and was attacked twice... I'm chewin' my nails here, folks.

Wasn't it CBS that blamed John Kennedy's 1963 assassination on the "climate of hate" in Dallas?

This year's election isn't just about voting for a president, it's about voting for GOOD or EVIL! And that will determine whether America will continue to receive the blessing of Almighty God or His Righteous Judgement. If you believe in prayer, you'd better pray like the nation's future depends on it because it DOES!!

I think in their desperation they realize that their hold on America is slipping away, and the thought of it is more than they can bear. When Reagan was president they had held the House for 40 years. It didn't look like they'd ever lose it. Now, they've been out of power for 10 years. It looks like Republicans will gain at least 2 Senate seats and when Bush wins, he'll probably get to fill at least 2 seats on the Supreme Court.
They're panicking big-time.

you hit the nail EXACTLY on the head!!
The hatred of Bush is nothing less than seethingly Satanic at its core and being vented by satan's many minons in the society.
Satan is the father of lies and all these 'books' being published about Bush is just plain lies & fabrications.

The good thing is that the public is sick of it! The Bush-haters have played their best hand already, shot their wad, gotten their powder wet, etc., etc....
They peaked around June, with the Fahrenhite 911, and the 9/11 Commission sham, and several of the more prominent books, and they had their impact. Its like they say, whatever doesn't take me down makes me stronger.
The American people listened to these diatribes for a brief period... in fact they could not escape it. But now that time is past. They have moved their gaze back to President Bush, and they realize they were deceived by the Bush-haters, and they will not be deceived again. Not many, at least. They are not willing to be led again down a hate-paved path. The salvos lobbed at President Bush now just bounce off with a hollow, empty clank. Add to this numbness the people feel (regarding the attacks on Bush ) the pathetic attempt by CBS to single-handedly bring down a sitting President and you have an electorate that is more than ever before alert to the fact that the Hate-Bush crowd are craven liars and not to be listened to. There is now very good reason to be optimistic about the elections outcome.
