Bush had better get his head out of his ass before next month.
Illegals are a major problem in Ohio. If he attempts to aid them then he will lose this state.
There are a lot of conservatives who will stay home.
It's true that few if any of us will change our votes because of this (who would we vote for, the poodle??), but the kind of active support he's going to need to get elected will be dampened by quite a lot. Suppressing this legislation is pure madness.

We are in a race to one world government , both parties want to be in the drivers seat for it. Then when the crash happens they will both claim clean hands.

At this point I'm not half as worried about Bush losing as I am about what will come of his not responding to this invasion.
Another large-scale terrorist attack (possibly dwarfing 9/11) is a best-case scenario. Civil War II seems incresingly likely.
