Hell, how many times can I boycott Disney?

The better approach is to personally call your local ABC affiliate and calmly explain why you will no longer be watching their local news. A locals big, big source of revenue is from local news advertising.

I did this last week with the CBS affiliate and the station manager was very apologetic. I explained I would give Rather a pass on the documents, but the reinstitution of the draft story was a blatant falsehood, which CBS admittedly knew and ran with anyway. I gave my name and number and told him to call me when Rather was gone and the news department overhauled. He actually thanked me for my politeness.

Another issure to bring up with ABC is how, immediately after the broadcast, Peter Jennings jumped all over the fact that W did in fact own a lumber company. Wish I had it on tape, he went after it like a shark to chum. I'm willing to bet that they had a heads up that Kerry was going to use it in the debate. They even got it wrong just like factcheck.org did.

Here's my letter:

Dear Board Members of Disney,

It is apparent that ABC News, under the direction of Marc Halperin for its political coverage, has officially joined the crowd of the "coerced."

Mr. Halperin's internal memo has inflicted yet another slap in the face of the American people, who's trust was once again violated by the mainstream liberal media.

It is painfully obvious that ABC News did not learn from CBS and the Dan Rather Memogate. ABC News hasn't learned that the American people are very capable of formulated their own opinion. We don't need nor do we want our news "shaped" in a way that reflects the political leanings of Mr. Halperin or any other news executive.

Please, do the right thing and fire Mr. Halperin. Apologize to the American public for violating the public trust and do everything in your power to begin the restoration of journalistic integrity.

Until Mr. Halperin is removed from his position, I will not support the ABC Network or its sponsors. I suspect that many Americans will join me in that effort.

Regards,

Google: "sweat shop" +Disney

These stories will eventually get legs because Disney really treats their offshore workers badly. There are groups of adult women from Bangladesh now going across the USA, giving presentations at high schools to the plight of the SE Asian worker and their past relations with Disney.

Walt Disney was a republican, and I'm sure he'd be rolling in his grave if he knew about the lefties that have taken over his enterprise.

I'd rather have an investigation and find out how deep the conspriracy goes....why bring up Nagourney, Stevenson, and Fineman? Were they strong-arming Halperin, or did they write the memo and Halperin put his name on it?
Who else did Halpersin hire that pushes the bias?
Nope, I'd rather have a long, drawn-out, and very public investigation into their news department.

My letter to the board members pasted, but, people we need to get organized. We need to make a FReeper list of all companies, organizations, business, and products associated with people that support the liberal cause and we need to make choices in our buying etc. that support our side rather than theirs.

Example, Sinclair Broadcasting is conservative, Disney is not. Lets get it together, lets promote each other and stop supporting them in any way.

I will gladly create the list. If anyone wants to submit names etc, please do, then periodically I will post it as it grows. Be on notice...I will also note who submitted the name, to give the list credability.

My letter:

Disney Board Members:

I will not say I am disappointed, or shocked or even surprised at the memo written by Mr. Halperin. I as most people have known for a long time that ABC News, its reporters and anchors were liberal, bias and this was strongly reflected in their reporting. We have also known for years that they did their best to influence elections but, until now, we had no “hard” proof and unlike ABC, we tend to hold our thoughts until we have proof.

Well, here now is the proof. What are you going to do about it? I suggest whatever it is that it be fast, honest and without spin. It is not just ABC at stake here. It is Disney. We are also wise to Disney’s affiliation with Michael Moore and F9/11. We also see how you promote liberal philosophies in your productions and we see how so much of that denegrates our society.

I understand why some Countries are upset with what the USA produces and exports to their Countries. Music, movies filled with sex, violence, self indulgence. You produce little these days that is wholesome, productive or inspiring. You will come to an end of this persists. The forces against you and your kind are gathering.

Cut your loses, do what is right for a change. You have some talented people. Put their work to good purpose. Raise your own bar and in the process the bar of everyone in this Country.

First step…..Fire Mr. Halperin. He really must go. I realize that is symbolic. The change necessary is much deeper than that, but it’s a start. A start that may save you.

It's Mark Halperin. You're thinking RICK KAPLAN. You're just mixing up your liberal Jewish news directors!
