In the third debate, John Kerry spoke of his mother's final moments and her words to him:
"Can I say, if I could just say a word about a woman that you didn't ask about, but my mom passed away a couple years ago, just before I was deciding to run. And she was in the hospital, and I went in to talk to her and tell her what I was thinking of doing.John Kerry painted a story of sitting at his mother's bedside as she lay dying in the hospital, reiterating that point twice. However, according to Mrs. Forbes' obituary, she died at home. And she looked at me from her hospital bed and she just looked at me and she said, Remember: integrity, integrity, integrity. Those are the three words that she left me with."
John Kerry will lie about his own mother to win this election. How shameless can a man be?
OK, granted Kerry is a hose beast...
Technically, they could have had hospice care where they rent or buy a "hospital bed" that adjusts up and down and stuff and she still could have died at home. She technically could have been in a hospital bed but not in a hospital...
Furthermore, what benefit would Kerry have in saying his mom died in a hospital vs. at home. She's still dead, and we have no proof that she did or did not say "Integrity". For all we know she could have died on a beach in Maui saying "Rosebud!"
People who want power THAT DESPERATELY are the absolute WORST people to HAVE power.
A (GOD FORBID!) president kerry would be the closest thing to a !@&%%# KING the U.S. will ever see! He reeks of noblesse oblige and hates that he must go through this low class WORK of having to get elected.
He and his lackeys will probably require bowing, averting the eyes, and calling him "YOUR F'in MAJESTY"! ! ! !
(sorry about the double...)
He didn't say that she died in the hospital.
The story has the same flavor as the Mary Cheney story- it's about family. If we say Mary is taboo and off limits, then they will say that this is also.
There is plenty of fodder. Let's chew on that.
It depends on what your definition of hospital bed is...
Bubba Clinton
Read his quote carefully. He didn't say she died in a hospital. He didn't say he visited her as she was dying or that she was on her deathbed. He said he visited her in a hospital. Was she in a hospital bed at anytime during the time he decided to run in 2002 as he says? Could be. That's what needs to be checked on. Not where she died but when the visit took place.
If your mother has to lecture you, when you are in your late fifties, on the importance of integrity on her death bed, then the clear implication is that you don't have any.
exactly.
Bingo.
And as Steyn put it, there's something disturbing about his mother feeling the need to remind Kerry of the importance of integrity with her last gasping breaths.
Another pathological liar like Clinton.
The real point is he wanted the story to be true. That's the important thing. < /s>
Never trust someone who says "trust me". That's how I see sKerry.
It's really not got anything to do with his mother. It's the image meme KerryEdwards2004 is trying to create, the previous "John KLerry served in Vietnam" is played out.
The new assioctaition is to be "When I see John Kerry, I think integrity, integrity, integrity."
First Kerry minion Rassmann come out with it. then Kerry claims that his dead mother also said it.
And you wouldn't disrespect Kerry's dead mother by doubting Kerry's integrity, integrity, integrity, would you?
My husband died at home -- in a hospital bed that had been moved into our bedroom.
It's the "in ths hospital" part of this that could be the lie.
Careful!
PS. I am a Bush supporter -- just pointing out that part of what he said could be true as it was when my husband died.
Kerry has no core (except amti-American) and he keeps changing his positions because he doesn't know himself what his position is. He is lost to himself.
Because he is lost to himself he flip-flops, changes positions, and makes up lies to cover for himself.
Kerry is actually sick, and I say this without biased animosity (although I hate him for what he did to honorable Vietnam Veterans). He has an illness. Professionals tell me he has a classic case. Here is an explanation of his illness.
NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER
John Kerry has a big problem!
Diagnostic criteria for 301.81 Narcissistic Personality Disorder (cautionary statement) A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
(1) has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
(3) believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
(4) requires excessive admiration
(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
(8) is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
(9) shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
This is no joke people.
I don't think that using such a comment by a man with no integrity be a surprise.

Of course she died at home in a hospital bed. That is what any dignified family does when in loved one is in the hospital and their time has come. They take them home to be with their spouse, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and pets.
OK Freepers. Put your heads together. Can anyone remember a scene like this from a movie? Did anything like this ever happen to a member of the Kennedy family?
