Jacksonville, OR, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- President George Bush sent greetings Friday to Muslims in America and around the world at the start of the Ramadan season.

I understand you like your friend. But you are defending from a position of weakness to an audience that is more than willing to chaistize your position. I try to be reasoned in my approach, but make no mistake. I have not forgotten 9/11. I have become semi educated regarding the koran. I think I know how muslims see infidels.
The muslims see this as war, and now I do too. I would take up arms against them in a second.

Minor correction, it's a religion, not an ethnicity. People will do some amazing things in the name of religion. The crusades, the spanish inquisition, witch burning... on a smaller scale, Jonestown, Waco, Heaven's Gate... beware. You needn't be afraid, but you should be on guard.

By the way, did he send all the Christians in the world greetings on Christmas, all the Jews greetings on Rosh Hossanah? How about the animists, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, Bahais, etc??

Now, now, don't forget President Bush must be a Compassionate Conservative in order to get the mushy middle to vote for him. He can't win without some of them voting for him. Leave him alone for just 19 more days and then we can all trash him all we want.For now everyone just let him do what he has to do.

My wife worked with some Iranian women who'd been here in the States for 20+ years (since the fall of the Shah).
They think the bourka-clad Wahabbi women you see from time to time are pathetic backwoods hicks. They laugh at them, make jokes about them.
