It continues to astonish me that on the one hand Republican leaders beg for our support and financial donations, then they turn around and do things to help Democrats get elected, or like Trent Lott, they wimp out and want to be "accommodating" to them. Yet, it is possible that the Republicans may win the Pesidency and add seats to the House and Senate. If this happens, I suspect the party's long term strategery is at work.

This is great news.

However, some judge did the same thing to Michigan voters, I believe. Are those voters under this same appeals court?

Did Michigan appeal to prevent this as well?

A provisional ballot is placed in a special envelope notating it as a provisional ballot. There are check boxes on the outside of the envelope.

The check boxes tell why the ballot was cast as provisional. Two of the check boxes are "No Voter ID" and "Wrong precinct, refused to go to correct one"

If one of those two boxes is checked, the ballot is not counted when the ballot boxes are emptied. So the provisional ballot is not like the others....it can be easily identified.

Yes, that would work really well. </sarcasm>

By the time the officials had finished manually scrutinizing voter lists, some of which might be handwritten, the election would be long over and the Democrats would have stolen the election using voters registered multiple times and voting both in person and by absentee ballot. And the Democrat winners would prevent any kind of prosecution of these criminals.
