I hope this a conservative estimate. If so, it has the potential to be more than that.

Well that 3% could be Nader and the Green party, and the other dozen are so candidates and also write in on many platforms. I hope Bush and Co. don't play it safe like spending the weekend at the freaking ranch! Still 3% should put a solid win in Bush's column. I have heard Dick Morris say once, that he did a study on how you could lose the popular vote and win the Electoral Vote, and he said the margin would need to be .10% or smaller which is what happened in 2000. So a solid 3% win, should be an easy Bush victory.

2% will walk out of the polling booth after standing in line for hours having not voted. They remained undecided.

Also, Septic14 probably thinks that Gore won in 2000, it's just that nasty ol' SCOTUS picked Bush. So that means Gore beat the odds too in his universe.

"I have no problem defending conservative ideas against a liberal. "

I dont either, but lately there are a host of troll articles that go up, then go down... I've responded to 3 just yesterday, then poof ... I guess the lesson is to ignore the posts that look 'troll-like'. It reduces the signal to noise ratio on the site, okay most of the time, but extra annoying this close to the most important election of our lives.

The 2000 Election is still a week off, but Vice-President Gore's camp is making strong predictions about the outcome.

Insiders tell us that the Gore-Lieberman polling team believes that the Vice-President will win election by 48.38% percent to 47.87% percent.

Remember Rove predicted a landslide the day before the election. Hopefully voter fraud is being calculated in.

Get a reality check flash bunny. Bush is going to take it and it won't even be close enough to protest. A lot of people I know are not happy about the war but still have more faith in Bush to pull it off. They can't hold their nose tight enough to vote for Kerry.

There's and old Texas Ranger saying down here in Texas and it goes like this. "it's hard to stand agin a man who's in the right and keeps acomin" GO BUSH!!

No doubt, but banning them is not the answer. Zotting their topic posts is not the answer either.

Let them post, keep the posts up and shread the content of the posts. Engage them in debate. There are lots of very smart people who post here.

Let the DU or their ilk post and run. I for one don't back down from a fight. zotting their posts or banning them for posting an unpouplar idea or viewpoint seems to me to be in some respect, backing down.

"we should ask JimRob to suspend all new accounts for the next week"

This is actually a pretty good idea, folks. Would you consider it, Jim?

Please. That's silly. There's no engaging these idiots in debate. They don't come here to debate, they come here to disrupt the board. Period.

Thinking otherwise is just a kumbaya vision of the world that has no basis in reality.

Those 'insiders' cant be from the GOP, because their numbers are even better than that. This is propaganda aimed at suppressing GOP turnout and increasing Democrat turnout. This is what we can expect from the MSM all next week.
