I didn't know it was still standing.
SOMETHING must be going on in the campaigns' internal polls, since Bush is spending time in "Kerry" states as well as "battleground" states, and . . . Kerry is ALSO spending time in "Kerry" states as well as "battleground" states.
I am trying to mix optimism and hope with humility and the knowledge that we have to keep working as hard as possible.
I'm gonna have an ulcer by the time this is done!
Bush has a lot of support here in Michigan. It's no big surprise that his rally is being held at the Silverdome and Kerry's was held in a much much much smaller venue last night.
At this rally, I hope the President addresses how Kerry's continued efforts to undermine the war effort is aiding and abetting the enemy, fueling the insurgents and putting the troops at greater risk.
Are there conservative news-talk programs in SE Michigan that are telling people about this? If not, can they be called? ;-)
That venue might be too small for all his supporters in the area. Better get your tickets early :)
I can't get time off work, but you east siders fill 'er up!!
Well, I don't know if you will 80K in the dome for Bush, but you might 40-50k, remember Bush needs a stage area which cuts down on seating, and it is during the week.
No they haven't given up on Ohio, Bush and others will be in Ohio this week up to election day. Heard Ken Mehlman on the Tony Snow show this morning, say that people in Ohio are actually saying they are getting to many visits.
A couple of polls have shown MI in play, and so must both camps internals, since Bush is showing up and Kerry was also making a stop
Just got my tickets! I asked how many people they were expecting...the response: 80,000! Even if it doesn't sell out, ya gotta love the confidence.
Yes you will!!! Friend of mine who is a delegate here in Macomb County is getting tickets for he and his wife, myself and my 2 sisters and 1 bro-in-law. Looking forward to it!!
