Why should we vote?
Reason #1 We have a duty to government. It is a freedom given to us by our four fathers and more importantly by God. In Mark 12:13-17 it reads…………In this particular reference God is talking about paying taxes, but the basic point is still the same and that is “we the people” should participate and respect the government and the person or persons that are in the government. If you want people that are easy to respect then you must go to the polls and cast your vote.
Reason #2 We as Christians need to have righteous people in charge. In Proverbs 29:4 it reads……and verse 8 reads…..If you want righteous people in government you must have your say and to have a say you again must vote on Tuesday. Only once though please!
Reason #3 Government is ordained of God to reward good and punish evil. In Romans 13:1-4 it reads…….In this passage God speaks of the obedience to the higher power, both himself and the existing government. Isn’t easier to obey a government that you favor over one that you don’t? I believe it is and to have a favorable government you must have a say. So I once again ask you to make an effort to go to your polling place and cast you vote. God bless! and See you at the polls!

To honor those men and women who serve so we can vote.
I think what was meant was responsiblity, not duty.

Why should we vote?
Ugh, to give a practical answer, to make sure Kerry is not elected. And to take it one step further, to make sure another Neville Chamberlain or Billary or Jimmy Carter or LBJ is not elected. These people have done a lot of damage as elected officials that we are all still living with today.
No problem, we are all a little tense right now :>)
Because we're The Good Guys and we have to win.
