Everyone seems to think that Cheney won't seek the nomination for '08. So, we need to start thinking about who we want for the '08 ticket. Lots of names were bandied about before the election.
Now that we've got four years to think about it, who does everyone want to see on the '08 ticket?
Ann Coulter/Laura Ingraham!!! An all blonde, all Conservative ticket. Plus their hot babes!!!
GIULIANI (NY moderate) Pres.
RICK SANTORUM (Pennsylvania conservative)VEEP
OR
CONDI RICE (California) Pres.
RUDY GIULIANI (NY moderate) VEEP
OR
RUDY for Pres. / CONDI for VEEP
Coulter/Ingraham or Ingraham/Coulter
never happen. too big of a pay cut. LOL!
Top of the ticket is tough - but I would say that Santorum should be considered for Veep.
THAT IS, of course, if he can get re-elected in 2006. It will not be easy - there are just too many bloody dems in Philly and too many dem voting people in the Philly burbs.
Bush lost philly by 400,000 votes. He only lost the state by 120,000 - so he made up a bunch of votes - but not enough.
I just don't know who I would want at the top of the ticket. Jeb has ruled it out - so I just really don't know. Give me a great second term Republican governor. I just can't think of any.....
Papa Bush 41 and George P Bush . A Bush/Bush ticket and 41 gets the second term perot thwarted.
Well, as we read about these "4 million evangelicals" and gun owners that came out to vote for Bush, you can kiss them goodbye with Rudy on the ballott. He's pro-gay, pro-gun control and pro-abortion. How many Republicans will he anger with those positions?? I nominate Owens from Colorado.
No McCain.
No Rudy. (won't survive the primaries).
No Ahhhnold (he can't run anyway - listening MSM?).
No Ridge.
No Jeb (America needs eight years between Bushes apparently).
No Pataki.
Bill Owens. That would be my pick.
Bill Owens and J. Kenneth Blackwell.
I think Zell is sincere when he says he wants out of public life.
Cheney?! Hello!!!!!!!!
John Ascroft and Ted Nugent. :)
Watts,Keyes in 08
We are in agreement.
Mitt Romney
Isn't that "Agreeance"
"How about a conservative next time?"
Yeah, and one who can speak. As much as I like W, he can't speak to save his life. If he'd had been able to articulate his ideas well, almost all of the map would be red instead of just barely enough.
Finally a Real Deal Pubbie!!!!
GO RICK!!!
I know Rudy's social liberalism will be a tough sell out in the country, but any law and order type of his ilk will easily support conservative judge appointments.
But never underestimate his appeal: he is heroic to many people and will get a long look based on his charisma and those empire state electoral votes in his pocket.
