I am one PA conservative who is not the least bit surprised by Specter's comments. Even if he was misquoted (and we know the press would never do that), it is exactly how he thinks. Specter is incredibly arrogant and has said he will not hesitate to block the President's pro-life nominees. Spector only won the primary because the labor unions organized a massive drive for their members to change party affiliation to vote in the primary, then change back again. The majority of conservatives voted the Constitution party candidate for senate.
