They are probably making space for the inevitable "Don't blame me, I voted for Kerry" stickers.
To: NaughtiusMaximus
Here in Greensboro, before the election, Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers were about even with the Bush/Cheney ones. Guilford county went narrowly blue. This morning, the number of Bush/Cheney stickers had not diminished, but I didn't see a single Kerry/Edwards sticker at all. Go figure.

Mebane reported that based on conversations he has had with colleagues, he would use the terms "devastated" and "horrified" to describe the general mood of Kerry supportersAh, I love the smell of panicked Liberals in the morning!
On the other hand, we are talking here about tenured academics, tenured for life. They will continue their drive to ruin the minds of their students for decades to come. Marxism is alive, well, and growing on nearly every American campus.
Like voter fraud, something needs to be done about this, and soon, before it poisons our entire national well.

"I think it's very disappointing. I think the Republicans managed to paint themselves as the moral choice and that's why they won the election," said John Turrettini grad, president of the Cornell Law Democrats
Morality has NO place in the liberal communist world. That is why they will always loose.

Perhaps you should have been more specific.I think you nailed it. They thought they had an easy win with Anyone But Bush, so they picked Treasonous Fraudman so they could spit in the face of the military as they coasted to the White House.
It didn't work. Now they're all in shock because they can't believe the rest of the country doesn't think like they do.

Cornellians - sounds lke an evil, invading, alien race that's hell-bent on our destruction!Sort of like Borg, only instead of armor and circuitry, they are covered in hemp clothing and love beads.

The Ithaca Journal (second item) has a brief note in Saturday's paper about another sign of the inability to accept the election:
Graffiti reported
Reported: Thursday
Time occurred: 2:04 a.m.
Location: The corner of Tioga and Seneca streets, Ithaca.
Incident: Someone spray-painted "Stop the stolen elections" on a sidewalk, police said.
Rumor has it that the graffiti is simply a test marketing of possible new slogan for the City's official seal, but you never know.
;-)
Ithaca is the City of Evil.

...he would use the terms "devastated" and "horrified" to describe the general mood of Kerry supporters. After all the evil accusations they threw at Bush, they truly deserve to be "devastated" and "horrified" at his re-election.
They ran a campaign of deceit and slander and they ended up deluding themselves the most.
Now reality has hit them like a ton of bricks.
It is a beautiful thing to behold.

"Damn my demographic," said David Gartenberg '05, citing the lack of young voter turnout in Ohio. "So close too, so close."LOL!! Saw a great cartoon last week that showed the Dems donkey angrily bursting into a bedroom saying "Overslept again?!" The kids is passed out on the bed wearing a shirt that says "Youth Vote. A 'Bruce' t-shirt is on the floor, and a 'Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll' pennant on the wall. It was just classic!
