Actually I don't think Clark will be a problem. Look for a Democrat Governor from the South or Mid-West.

Condi Rice (President), and Jeb Bush (VP).

My dream ticket.

...Gulliani had higher % than (UGH) McCain. Well duh! Compare the power of Rudy's name to McCain's. You'll notice a vast difference.

The % wasn't that much higher.

I don't know much about him, but just reading about his record in terms of taxation, what about Mark Sanford - Governor in North Carolina?

Look for a Democrat Governor from the South or Mid-West.

Evan Bayh would be a great choice for the RATs. Would they nominate a pro-lifer though?

I would love that ticket but I think it would remind people of Royalty to have Jeb follow George directly. I have read that he is not interested. He wants to take time off after being the govenor of Florida for 2 terms.

Forget Giuliani - he's a lightning rod for the pro-life crowd.

The monster ticket that I would envision at this time would be Condi Rice and Colin Powell.

The shock and awe value of an 'all-black-all-conservative' ticket and their moderate Republican values would shatter the strategy of 'pretty-in-pink' Hillary as she will reinvent herself in time for 2008.

I can just hear the charges of racism now - and they are as sweet as they can be.

I don't know much about McCain's stance, is he pro-abortion or pro-gay, I do see the point that he doesn't understand rural america, but perhaps he could purge some of the pork being spent

I suspect that is based upon name recognition only at this juncture..... Note Edwards right there also....

Agreed. Anyone Pro-Choice will never get nominated.

Also, Senators are usually bad executives - too much of a voting record, and they only know how to talk and not lead. Need to find another governor.

Watch who Bush puts on his Cabinet. He'll start grooming a successor.

I think Newt Gingrich is our man.

Rats brought Newt down once. He has too much baggage.

A second for Mike Steele! There's a man who knows how to speak! He sure made Maryland proud at the RNC!

For all the talk about Rudy's social positions, it's important to remember that this is they guy who ran porn out of Times Square. Which wasn't the least bit easy.

As for judges, Rudy will find the law and order types out there. He knows most of them already.
