I'm going to start with a communication of support of this young Marine, to the Commandant of the Marine Corps himself. Then, President Bush and my Senator/Congressman.They are going to hear from me and I have all friggin day to do it. I am so livid about this that words cannot describe. As a former Marine myself, this young "Leather" was doing what he was trained to do, adapting to unreasonable circumstances (enemy tricks) and he did exactly what I would have done and what has always been done with a fanatical enemy. If authorities hang this Marine out to dry, I will never stop raising hell and will become a point man for pulling these guys out of theater entirely...MSM is SICK. Other suggestions?

I agree with you completely. The MSM are the enemy. If Sites was following these guys where was the story of this Marine's buddy who was killed by a bobby trapped terrorist's body the day prior to this. Sites needs to be made the bad guy here. Let's turn the tables.By the way my son is a blackhawk crew chief on his way to Iraq. God Bless our Troops.

How can viewers make a decision when they don't know the facts? An investigation PRIOR to the release of the video would have contributed to the body of evidence surrounding this incident.

All I can say is that it is good thing that WWII didn't happen with embeds and 24/7 cable news networks. There is no way that war could have been conducted, let alone won.

Why were the troops even put in danger? Where are the dang B52s? Rummy is as much responsible for this as that young Marine.

Yes, earlier in the day. Plus a Marine from his unit was killed a few days before when a booby trapped body exploded. He had every right to shoot this slob.
The media is in complete orgy mode over this. It's the cure to the hangover they've had since November 3.

I too, am outraged by the MSM replacement for Abu Gharib! These jerks are thrilled when they can "get something" (in their twisted minds)on our guys. Whatever we can do, let's just do it! I, unfortunately have nothing but liberal congress members, and senators from my blue state of Calif., and will get NO support from Feinstein, Farr, and Boxer you can be sure, but I will write the president and everyone else to support this guy and get rid of the NBC traitor!
