They are still figuring out how to do election stealing better - but they haven't quite managed to do it yet.
.
That's Shaker Heights, OHIO, the heart of HILLARY for President Territory.
A HILLARY that pledged the day after she was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2000 that she would destroy the Electoral College.
And now Friend of HILLARY Sen. DIANE FEINSTEIN has just begun this quest for her this very week by promising to introduce legislation for a Constitutinal Amendment that would do just that.
.
You can't help but wonder where the democrats are going to get the money to keep buying votes. They keep this up and what will actually happen is voting will become so tight the dems will never be able to steal an election ever again.
Actually, a good number of these fruitcake dems and their green and libertarian friends think there was also fraud in FL, NM and NV. It's just that the lion's share of the focus is on OH since it was the only decisive state that was "close." So there you have it, folks--there was (fictitious) fraud in OH, FL, NM and NV, but none of the 46 other states + D.C. What a cute coincidence that they only are eyeing states that Bush won narrowly. I'm surprised they haven't screeched about IA.
Interesting how these people, who have such a hard time believing that Bush won what is the most republican of the 1st-tier swing states, conveniently ignore the fact that Bush improved his totals in so many states, even those he lost resoundingly last time and this time around. So it's not surprising he did better in places (he ended up winning) like NM, IA and FL. He still did very well in OH considering the fact that Nader got around 2.5% in 2000 and wasn't on the ticket this time, and most of his votes probably went to Kerry. Maybe if it wasn't for the mediocre job situation, Bush would have done even better.
Mr. Shambora, an economics professor at Ohio University, moved during the summer but failed to notify the Athens County Board of Elections until the day before the presidential election. An official told him to use a provisional ballot.
But under Ohio law, provisional ballots are valid only when cast from a voter's correct precinct. Mr. Shambora was given a ballot for the wrong precinct, a fact he did not learn until after the election.
So, this "diligent voter" doesn't notify the board of elections when he moves, and then fails to notice that his ballot is for the wrong precinct???
Don't sound too diligent to me
Bingo! My daughter moved from Connecticut to St Louis in August. Within of 2 weeks of trying to get settled in a new home & starting her new job, she registered to vote. It was top priority with her. And I was here to remind her just in case. Apparently voting was not high on the professor's list of important things to take care. This is just appalling that he gets to be the lead in this newspaper article on voting irregularities. Why can't someone ever just write an article on IRRESPONSIBLE VOTERS!
Seems like he still lived in the same county. I was in the same situation about twenty years ago, so I just drove to my old precinct, and voted.
I guess the Professor was just to smart to do that.
Why does it seem that all voting "irregularities" take place in counties with Democratic administrations?
Long lines, found ballots after the count, "hanging chads", people at the wrong polling places, endless recounts, and the one I love best...determining the "intent" of the voter where no mark was made on the ballot.
An economics professor? I'll give him an "S" for stupidity. He really does belong in Florida. At least down there he would be rubbing elbows with those who also think they were disenfranchised.
What about Wisconsin or Penn.? Oh Kerry won there.
What's the point of such an exclamation, laugh, etc. You offset my pings and there's no picture or anything to look at. That's not very polite at Christmas.
Just watch, after they reform the Ohio system, they'll be able to cheat easier. Reforming the system means ensuring that dims receive a vote regardless who the voter intended to vote for.
Do you wish to vote for:
John Kerry
or
John Kerry
or
John Kerry
If Bill is a diligent voter, I'd hate to see what the Times thinks is a lazy whiner.
The verdict is in: there was NO VOTE FRAUD in Ohio despite the efforts of politically motivated opponents to show it existed. So far there's been more hot air than facts. And certainly nothing that requires Congress to overturn the election results when it meets in joint session on Jan. 6th to count the electoral votes.
Two weeks later, the board discarded his vote, adding him to a list of more than 300 provisional ballots that were rejected in that heavily Democratic county.
"It seems like such a confused system," said Mr. Shambora, a John Kerry supporter who blames himself for the mistake. "Maybe if enough people's votes had counted, the election might have turned out differently."
At a rate of 300 per county I don't think that Ferry could make up the 120,000 difference.
Well, I sure do apologize. Being a relative newbie here, I am not sure what "offset the pings" means other than pad your pings with something relatively inane (which I readily admit, my post was). Of course, that was the whole point anyway since I thought the original article was completely inane and unworthy of the space it occupies on the printed page on on the Internet.
Just my opinion, of course, nothing personal.
You didn't even post anything with the article to prime the pump, so to speak, so I just took the article where I thought it should go! If it was not where you intended, sorry bout that.
And a Merry Christmas to you!
