Welcome to a brand new year! It's the first Sunday of 2005.
- AIRLINE PRICE WARS: SUPER SALE ON SEATS?...JetBlue, tonight, shows $198 Dulles-Long Beach nonstop. Bring on the cheap seats!
- "Kerry sounded very much like a man who was running for president again."
- N KOREA WARNS OF NUKE SHOWDOWN.."All Koreans should stage a powerful struggle for peace against war in order to drive the U.S. troops out of South Korea" ??
- Mexico's Foreign Ministry publishes guide to assist border crossers...The Guide for the Mexican Migrant
- The regional office of the W.H.O. says Fears of Dead Bodies Are Unfounded (can't spread disease)... what's the truth on this??
- "Meet the Fockers" -- for the second straight week, the sequel earned $42.8 million to retain its No. 1 slot [UGH]
- The Anna Nicole Smith decision reversed a lower federal court in California, which a three-judge panel of the appeals court said improperly heard the case. Anna's lawyer called this a "technicality," so you now know all you need to about him. Watch for them to hit the media with class-warfare crapola, lil prediction on my part.
- Christie Whitman's BUSH BASH BOOK BURSTS IN TIME FOR INAUGURAL... who's the publisher on this turkey?
- Rehnquist is concerned with the poor federal judiciary getting a fair shake.
- 'Live Aid II' Planned for Tsunami Relief
- Intrigue Surrounds Kofi Annan and the United Nations... Developments late Sunday...
It's Drudge night.....fire away!

Was going to watch Smallpox on FX instead.
The only thing worse than a bad documentary is a bad fictitious documentary. Had to turn it off after the first hour, it was so boring.

He comes on at 9:30 in New York. The WABC feed appears to be running 10 minutes behind live, from what I can tell. I've been listening to the Whitman snoozefest since 8 eastern.
Do you have AOL Instant Messenger installed? You can contact him that way yourself!

One of the things I wanted to do all last year was to be at the beginning of this live thread. WooHoo!!
If more of my goals are met this early, I can begin my vacation to Tahiti earlier. Hehe!

What Bill Frist should have said to Wolf Blitzer on CNN Late Edition:
"I understand Senator Leahy's partisinship but I don't get his impatience... I mean, once the wheels start turning, it takes time to come up to speed.. and Senator Leahy has been around for a while now, he obviously knew or should have known that the initial $35 million outlay was a stop-gap, and that there would be more added to that. But I guess he just couldn't miss an opportunity to use anything at all to blast this administration, and you guys in the press who keep picking up and trumpeting this rhetoric really make yourselves look stupid when all of the facts eventually come out..."
Yeah, don't I wish....
