Subversion during a time of war is a punishable offense. His comments were intended to incite hatred of Americans, and promote actions against our government. It may fall within the Federal Anti-Sabotage act, especially if he was disseminating materials to promote his friggin point of view. good point. this resignation is no punishment at all for Prof Churchill. He'll now have more time to teach (ie, indoctrinate), more time to write traitorous essays, and will probably get more speaking engagements too. UC should've fired him, but it's hard to do that to a tenured prof. Not to mention that most of the liberals at UC probably agreed with Churchill silently.
