actually, you're pretty close to the mark.

churchill is an indian activist, and he and russell means of south dakota, went to meet gaddafi in libya to form a political alliance between libya and the sioux nation.

about 1990.

this was before gaddafi's recent turn towards the west.

By not firing him outright (or at least demoting him to "perpetual sabbatical"), the university is agreeing with his tripe. There's no other way to look at it.

It takes incredible intellectual arrogance to call all of them "little Eichmanns".

All because they were "capitalists" too. .....as if Eichmann and capitalism are even remotely related.

A University of Colorado professor who provoked a furor when he compared victims of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks to Nazis resigned as a department chairman Monday but will retain his teaching job

The University should have fired him, as he doesn't deserve a teaching job

He doesn't even deserve a job as a janitor.

Thanks. I hope I can be excused for my error. I just jumped to conclusions because they didn't teach ethnics when I went to school. We'd never even heard of it. We taught civics.

Administrators have moved Churchill's appearance to a building that can seat 2,000, instead of the originally planned 300.

So they think MORE people are going to see this guy? I guess maybe the leftists will turn out for him. Does anyone have a link to his original essay?

No doubt in my mind the ONLY reason he is *ehhhh* retiring is MONEY. Whether the school is privately funded or not, MONEY/CASHOLA/HAMILTONS/SMACKAROONIES/ would be the ONLY reason a liberal coven would shoo out one of it's own.. but I'll add this... I'm betting he's getting a BIG under the table payoff to leave. (Noooooooooo, I''m not wearing tinfoil...hehe)

Yeah, I understand the error. You, like everyone here, actually thought this college would be teaching something of value rather than engaging in baby sitting a bunch of adolescents during the times between parties. A common mistake made by us older people.

Here's hoping the alumni express their disapproval of Hamilton College's invitation, by withholding their pledges.

Subversion during a time of war is a punishable offense. His comments were intended to incite hatred of Americans, and promote actions against our government. It may fall within the Federal Anti-Sabotage act, especially if he was disseminating materials to promote his friggin point of view. He of course can hold that opinion as a private individual, but to promote it to incite is aiding and abetting our enemies. Sorry.. no dice.

good point. this resignation is no punishment at all for Prof Churchill. He'll now have more time to teach (ie, indoctrinate), more time to write traitorous essays, and will probably get more speaking engagements too. UC should've fired him, but it's hard to do that to a tenured prof. Not to mention that most of the liberals at UC probably agreed with Churchill silently.
