Visioning projects are going on all over the United States to brainwash Americans into accepting smart growth and its subsequent soviet bloc style housing and elimination of private automobiles for transportation.

Thanks hedgetrimmer for this well researched informative post. Your efforts are appreciated. This is something that I had thought was occuring with regard to the land grabs for open space. But I had no idea that there was an underlying infrastructure like Agenda 21.

I have also noticed an up-swing in land grabs in the name of "Emminent Domain"....the taking of private lands by local, state, gov. for use for "the good of everyone". I work in the building industry, so this info. is part of my daily life.

sustainable development, euphemism for abortion, population control, control of Sovereign American Land by UN committees, etc. Planning to control populations and trees which lowers the creation of man to the level of a plant or  tree in a forest.   And people wonder why in 1973 the USA made the destruction of the baby in the womb legal while during the same year  enacted the Endangered Species Act which gave federal legal rights and protections to spotted owls, alligators, humpback whales, species of weeds, algae, fish, spiders, brine shrimp, etc. and yet we laugh when these demonic, satanic and pagan UN programs are developed and implemented.  In addition, land/property rights happen to be a Holy Institution granted by G-d to humanity through Abraham and Moses; it's nothing to take lightly or jokingly.  Firefighters die while fish live.

The Preamble of the UN Earth Charter states:

… we are one human family and one Earth community with a common destiny. We must join together to bring forth a sustainable global society founded on respect for nature.... Towards this end, it is imperative that we, the peoples of Earth, declare our responsibility to one another, to the greater community of life, and to future generations.

AGENDA 21

A major achievement of UNCED was Agenda 21 a thorough and broad-ranging program of actions demanding new ways of investing in our future to reach global sustainable development in the 21st century. Its recommendations ranged from new ways to educate, to new ways to care for natural resources, and new ways to participate in designing a sustainable economy. The overall ambition of Agenda 21 was breathtaking, for its goal was nothing less than to make a safe and just world in which all life has dignity and is celebrated.

I haven't read the link yet, but I don't dismiss these types of warnings anymore. Fifteen years ago a political activist in MA informed me of a portion of the Ed Reform bill that mandated the establishment of "homosexual clubs" and "gay-safe zones" in all public schools in Massachusetts. The enabling legislation was buried in an enormous bill. The same person pointed out to me that identical language could be found in ed bills being proposed in many other states across the country. The campaign was centrally organized and the provisions in the bill have come to pass, although at the time I found it hard to believe.

AGENDA 21 is not a Black Helicopter Birch Society CFR conspiracy theory. "Smart Growth" is being pushed in every suburban town in America.

"Open Space" Planning and the "viewsheds" in new restricted zoning laws are being implemented across the country.

It will never be a pet project on Hannity or O'Reilly because they really aren't smart enough to really grasp what's going on. It would take research, they don't have time. Just like there is no such thing anymore of "investigative" journalism....too cost and time intensive.

Instead, reporters use polls and press releases as a substitute for news now because it's easy.

I'll be saying to my local militia leader: "Locked and loaded and ready for combat, SIR..."

Stock up on your ammo, now! I don't believe black helicopter crap like this, but there's absolutely no reason to discredit it. Every movie I can think of that falls in the future shows a "Unified Earth Initiative" type government.

Also, isn't there a UN mandate on the docket this year for a worldwide ban on small arms? What happened to the Constitution of the United States? Thank GOD for W!

From the UN overview document:

A) Empowering communities

3.7. Sustainable development must be achieved at every level of society. Peoples' organizations, women's groups and non-governmental organizations are important sources of innovation and action at the local level and have a strong interest and proven ability to promote sustainable livelihoods. Governments, in cooperation with appropriate international and non-governmental organizations, should support a community-driven approach to sustainability, which would include, inter alia:

(a) Empowering women through full participation in decision-making;

(b) Respecting the cultural integrity and the rights of indigenous people and their communities;

OK, given that points (a) and (b) are in direct conflict with each other in most poor countries, just how does the author of this document expect these things to occur?

Ever see the show "Real TV"? It's a reality TV show. Leading off today, a dead-of-night drug raid in Britain where the bobbies found not even close to enough suspected pot and coke to fill a small hefty bag. Of course, the JBT's were proud and happy and boastful about busting up the front door, waste pipes, cabinetry and such, with his wife and baby in the middle of the maelstrom. Just in case you thought that was just a Janet Reno fetish.

Follow this up with some 'impartial' coverage of the heroic Greenpeace trying to interfere with a U.S. Navy exercise, as narrated by the whale-huggers themselves. Watch the fearless battlers for the environment against the mean old military and their water cannons.

Agenda? What agenda?

Read Michael Crichton's State of Fear. It's an excellent, very readable book of fiction, based on the phoney science of the environment. It explains the fallacy and politicization of the environmental movement, how it's all a big power play. The story line is of course fiction but the facts (all footnoted) are real.

Agenda 21 cannot be explained with a sound bite, which is what Americans require now. It has more tentacles than a centipede. It covers everything from environment to neighborhood associations to thought police to treaties which implement Agenda 21 such as the FTAA treaty.

When something is too hard for the average guy to comprehend they fall back on "conspiracy theory", but Agenda 21 is too dangerous to be blown off so lightly.
