Vanity: Please help with my kid's science fair project

My seventh grader is doing a science fair project involving "handedness". She needs a larger sample for her data. If you would like to help, please do the following: clasp your hands together with your fingers intertwined. Report which thumb is on top and if you are right or left handed. Thanks for your help! Standing outside the grocery store didn't work, even with tootsie rolls as a thank you. People were too afraid we were selling something!

Just for info, at the 250 post point, the right-hand, left thumbs on top are "winning", 75 to 55. For the lefties, left on top ahead at 16 to 6.

My left thumb is on top, and I'm right handed.
Fun fact: Next time you put on your socks try to remember which sock you put on first. Most people put on the left sock first. Maybe she can work that into a science project as well :)

Am Right handed, left thumb on top.
However, have been tested as being equi-hemispheric as far as left/right brain dominance goes.

If you're just sitting there putting your hands together, get up and do it behind your back, or behind your head. I maintain the other four fingers of your hands determine where your thumbs end up, because they meet first.
