It's been explained a thousand times. He is a globalist who believes the nation state is dead and promotes border less trade zones. In other words he spit on his oath of office, and everyone on FR knew he would. But Kerry was just too much of a dork to allow in office. So it's still the lesser of two evils we are forced to vote for.

But when Bush calls honest concerned patriots "vigilantes" for monitoring the border he has crossed the line into an area each citizen is free to define.

When the next hit comes from terrorists tracked in through Mexico or Canada, GWB will be impeached in record time.

President George W. Bush listens to remarks by Mexico's President Vicente Fox during a joint news conference following their summit meeting at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, yesterday.

He said he would pressure Congress to further loosen immigration law.

You mean it could be more loose than it already is? I'm pretty disgusted those comments GW. You're helping unleash a total culture change on America for what I can only assume is either for political (Hispanic voting) or economic (cheap labor) reasons.

Controlled immigration is not a problem, a flood of illegals is a disaster. I'm a big supporter of GWB on many issues but his stance on spending and illegal immigration is just totally opposite of mine.

Our Capitol Hill team has learned that Senator Larry Craig (R-ID), the sponsor of the AgJOBS amnesty, is going to attempt to attach the massive illegal alien amnesty to the Iraq supplemental spending bill when the Senate returns from recess in early April.

This, of course, is an outrageous effort to attach an amnesty for illegal aliens to counterterorrism legislation. However, it is a significant threat because if Sen. Craig is successful in attaching the amnesty to the Iraq supplemental spending bill, it will very likely pass since most Senators will have a hard time voting against the Iraq supplemental spending bill.

Everyone needs to call their representatives NOW!

Of course, Kerry didn't just want to amnesty illegals, he wanted to make 'em citizens...

If you don't think President Bush wanted to make them citizens too then you have not been listening. Did you ever once here him describe how he was going to make 10 million illegals leave after there guestworker permits expired? No he was going to let them get in line for citizenship behind everybody else and they could stay until their turn finally came.

I realize that he is for amnesty, I was one of those that said that it was when he came out with his proposal. However, it was portraied as him being for workers coming to America unfettered.

Border control is only one facet of the problem.

Let's say Bush were to actually decide that the US is a country of laws and that he was going to enforce them.

Let's say that Bush systematically ran the illegals out of the US. I personally think this could be done inside of a year, maybe two years.

There would be an immediate impact on the (profit) prices of many everyday things. Houses and agricultural products being two prominent areas that would be quickly affected.

This immediate increase in prices would not be offset by a reduction in cost to the citizens from State and local governments nor hospitals nor any other group burdened by illegals. When is the last time you ever actually saw government get smaller year over year?? Everyday citizens would see an everyday increase in the cost of many things.

Bush won't take the heat for that change. He thinks its better to leave the weight of these illegals on the backs of the citizens of this country than it is to enforce the laws he swore to uphold.

I personally think he is as out of touch as his father was, only in different ways. He is going to find his legacy to be quite different from what he thinks it will be. And in the process he is going to hand the presidency to the democrats. A third party that promises to do something about the problem could easily deflect enough votes from the Republicans to hand the election to the Dems.

I could be wrong, there could be some really imaginitive reason that escapes me. But this simple answer fits well.

Bush has betrayed us. I will not vote Republican in the next election. I'll sit it out.

This is a disgrace! There's 10 Million illegals in this country and Bush has done less than nothing. He even slashed the border patrol budget! Insane. I don't know what kind of game he's playing but I've lost faith in that man. So long, Dubya!

And in the process she will disarm you and forever prevent you from protecting your home and your family, much less the border.

I simply cannot fathom that Bush's position is purely political. At least I hope not. There will be hell to pay when this country suffers serious and sudden harm because of this open border amnesty bull$hit. Not that my beloved United States is not already being harmed-we see it in our communities and are informed by fellow freepers about their communities. Like Michael Savage says: "Borders, Language, Culure". Why are these things not important to our leaders, when they are essential to our nation and demanded by our citizens?

This issue vexes me and I fear I will never be able to understand why.

WACO, Texas -- President Bush yesterday said he opposes a civilian project to monitor illegal aliens crossing the border, characterizing them as "vigilantes."

Tough sh$% Bush; you had you chance to do something, you failed. Citizens are doing your job for you as well.

I'm with you on this one. This could be the GOP's undoing.

I'm with you on this one. This could be IS the GOP's undoing.

Sorry, just had to correct that a bit.

But Kerry was just too much of a dork to allow in office.

And he's running again in 2008. The GOP had better field a candidate like Tancredo next time around or we might as well fling open the borders officially and be done with it.

"My only hope is that Congress won't support his wishes. "

The impact on the country long term is greater than Iraq and 911. I'm in Vegas, I see it every day.

They are now trying to deport a family of Russian professional skaters here, when I could find a thousand unemployed wetbacks in about an hour.

...Don't blame me. I threw my vote away...

Yeah, me too. But I voted straight Republican until I got to the presidency, then I voted for the Independent Party hack. The poor rube got like 5000 votes in California, one of which was mine.

But think about it. In California, the Deathocrats have a nut lock on all the Federal elections; why shouldn't the conservatives post a protest vote of massive numbers? If the Repubs and conservatives of California rallied behind some third party shill, wouldn't that get the attention of the rest of the Nation?

Maybe some momentum against the same old choices could gather steam. But, currently, the Republicans are just a watered down version of the Deathocrats - the same socialist agenda, only enacted more slowly.

Funny you should do that as I first wrote "WILL" and decided to take it down a notch. I was right the first time.
