Why is he pushing this on us??? Can you explain what is the reason for it? Every single statistic that I have seen is that it is costing us Billions, but business is getting a break in cheap labor. Bush is becoming an enemy and I only put himn one step above Kerry.

It is one thing to say he is for letting them come here for jobs

That's not exactly what he said. He wasn't requiring the ones who were here illegally to go home. Nor was he telling anyone how it would be enforced, since it currently is not being enforced.

Anyway you slice it, that's amnesty. You have to learn to speak "politician".

"Revenue Enchancement" anyone?

it is another to call citizens that help monitor the border (and do not interact with the illegals) as vigilanties.

Yeah, that's *almost* as stupid as amnesty when millions cross the border each year. But not quite as stupid.

... If Stalin and Hitler were on the ballot, who would you vote for?...

We'll find out, since that'll be the ballot in 08.

Someday maybe I'll find out Fox's astonishing hold on GW Bush.

Puhlease, they are trying to say that the people monitoring the border (both citizens and government agents) are the ones that are "hunting" "migrant people".

I have gotten tired of President Bush on certain domestic items like immigration. If Kerry was not worse on every item, I would have abstained or voted for a Third Party.

No. I don't understand it at all. It has been a cause of his for awhile, and I never quite got it.

I think he may have a slight man-crush on Vicente Fox (or maybe a full on romance), but i'm not sure. He does the guy's bidding.

Every single statistic that I have seen is that it is costing us Billions, but business is getting a break in cheap labor. Bush is becoming an enemy and I only put himn one step above Kerry.

When you encourage the country to be invaded, you aren't a step above anyone, IMHO. That's worse than a BJ under the desk.

I just hope it's above the waist.

I'm beginning to wonder.

I am beginning to believe that he patterend himself after Bill Clinton's successful campaign style.

Define yourself as the savior of all the things they can't live without, and then stir in an equal measure of things they can't live with.

Sounds d*mn near satanic, doesn't it?

--Can someone please explain Bush's apparent lack of logic on border control?--

--Latin Vote, that's it and that's all.--

And, if that's the case, it's still not logical. The illegals vote for Democrats, peiod (now if that doesn't speak volumes for our situation). And a large percentage of the middle class hispanics are not in favor of having all these illegals.

Personally, I think we, as private citizens, have a constitutional right AND duty to patrol our borders

If Hillary would secure our borders, I would vote for her. The problem is, she will insist she will, get elected - and then won't.

The stupid GOP is laying the seeds of their own (and our) destruction. Terri isn't the one who is brain dead in this country!

Yup. No surprises, just a consistant disappointment.

Of course, Kerry didn't just want to amnest illegals, he wanted to make 'em citizens...

It is difficult to understand the President of the United States wanting to "go easy" on illegals flooding across our borders from Mexico.

Seeing the Mexicans invading our country is bad enough but, My God, what are the consequences of this policy. Terrorists are a lot of things, but they are not stupid. They will taker advantage of this opportunity that the President is providing them to the detrement of a multitude of citizens of our country who will suffer from these wrong headed policies.

Puhlease, you find me any comments, anywhere, where President Bush calls "The Minuteman Project" vigilantes.

I can recognize a hit piece when I read it.

"I'm against vigilantes in the United States of America," Mr. Bush said at a joint press conference. "I'm for enforcing the law in a rational way."

When Bush gets criticized by conservatives for making statements like these he's asking for it since he's done so little to secure the borders or enforce the laws.

I was referring to the fact that he called the minutemen, "vigilantes". That he would refer to them in that way is what I am talking about.

President Bush yesterday said he opposes a civilian project to monitor illegal aliens crossing the border, characterizing them as "vigilantes

From Vicentes lips, to Bush's ear, to the United States citizens.

Bush should remember, and tell his buddy Vicente, that he was elected to speak for We The People, not to dictate to us concerning his friendship with a country that will destroy our economy.

This Country and its land belongs to We The People both individually and collectively and We The People have spoken. No more illegals, no more wide open borders and the elceted President (not KING!) Best listen.

Bush is crossing the line. I will NEVER vote for a Republican again - going constitution party.
