He ranks tsunami risk as second only to global warming in the hazards facing the planet.

Ok.

I guess that would be one sure way to get the UN out of the US.

Highest elevation in Florida: 345 feet, and that is on the panhandle, on the side opposite the Atlantic. Got water wings?

I saw this on the Discovery Channel. Very interesting. They said it would destroy the entire east coast for up to 12 miles inland. I'm looking for property 12.5 miles inland.

Why not just drill a few holes in the sucker and let the lava and gases out to prevent the big build-up?

Evacuate the east coast of the US in 12 hours? Sorry folks you are going to die sitting in your cars in gridlock.

Some Moslem scholar predicts it will happen in 2007. He says the Koran says so. I saw a thread about it here on FR earlier this afternoon.
Sorry I would provide a link, but I am not sure how to do so. I am NOT a computer geek; I'm barely computer literate. :)

So the Eastern seaboard could be wiped clean by an act of God? I thought He said He wouldn't do that again?
What a shame /sarcasm

Ah, from China. We're all gonna die, we're all gonna die! I think I'll have another Martini. Yep, that's what I'll do, I'll have another Martini. I just wonder if it'll hit Minnesota, and how hard. Now where is that Vermouth?

Since the volcano is such a big deal why don't we have Congress come up with a pork barrel project to safely level it and prevent the possible tsunami?

$300 billion to bulldoze it ought to be enough.

Or we could just use the Peaceful Atom to level it.

Or we could just laugh it off and stop worrying about bulls*it.
