Someone started a thread with one simple idea. We are forbidding a mother and father from putting even a few drops of water on their handicapped daughter's tongue. Don't tell me the Nazi comparison's aren't justified. Heck, even the Nazi's allowed prisoners a bit of bread and soup. Those starved to death, like the several men accompanying St Maximilian Kolbe, were starved to death for a REASON i.e. to prevent further escape attempts. We really will have a hard time looking back and saying why it is we starved Terri Schindler-Schiavo to her death. IMHO.

This Mother's child will never be forgotten. Lord.. send Your angels to Terri's bedside, surround her with Your peace and comfort... heal the bleeding hearts of her loving family.
Though many across this great nation may think that once Terri's fate is eventually a reality, this chapter will be forgotten .. things will go back to normal. They may be longing for it to be forgotten. They are sadly mistaken. This outrageous saga will never be forgotten. We pray for bold and righteous leaders as the impact of this dark chapter permeates the fabric of our country's values and traditions.
