If she was a vegetable as you believe then it is not a big deal. At least her life brought pleasure to her real family. But they don't matter because Michael loved and cared for her so well.

AMEN!! We just showed the entire world how "passionate" the American society really is. We don't act like the terrorists. They behead people and they are dead very quickly. Celebrating? Raising a glass of wine? Eating a piece of cake? How do all those comforting justifications for supporting this Death stand in light of her death?
Somehow, someway, I'm expected to forgive as in Christ's example. It's going to be difficult. It'll have to be done if expected to reach everyone that believes they were justified to aid Judicial murder, but right now I have no desire to look, see or hear from anyone that supported this barbarism.

If you read my post a couple pages back you will see that if I had my wish I would have wanted Michael to divorce Terry and give custody over to her parents.
However, in the eyes of the law, this was Michael's decision to make, not mine, not her parents, and definitely not the general public.

I have a brand new beautiful roof since last night,and I am so sad I cannot enjoy it at this time. We have to replace that Creep Florida State Senator JD Alexander in 3 years and 5 months. I will draft a gopher to run against him as long as he can win the GOP primary.

A Governor he is. While an out of control judiciary snubs its nose at congress and the laws of Florida, he had the duty to uphold the law, not an illegitimate verdict of a runaway judge. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with his performance. He went to the plate, then turn and ran. The last 2 weeks of her life he was nowhere to be found. He wouldn't even take calls from the family.

Pandora's box has been allowed to be open. For the first time in U.S. history, we have sanctioned the murder of Human Life by the cruelest of means. Terri Schiavo was an innocent human being and should have been afforded ALL the rights of a U.S. citizen.
My prayers go out the Schindlers for their loss and praise for their valiant fight. When no one would stand beside them they stood. They are true Patriots. God bless them.

There is evil and there are enemies in this world. Terri had enemies. I'm sure pbrown didn't mean to say that innocent people are worth dying for her child, but her child's enemies, those who had made a pact with the devil, surely deserved what was coming to them.

Michael had to have his last pound of flesh. Keep the parents away from Terri until she was definitely dead. So what was he afraid of? That she'd have a miraculous recover and wake up and tell everyone how her bones had gotten broken and how he'd tried to strangle her, etc.. Clearly, he was afraid the law would reach out and slap him in jail. He should still be afraid. That autopsy should tell a few home truths, which he and that fiend, Felos, will wave away as somebody else's fault. The two of them will churn out books, tv movies, and tabloid story rights galore. Disgusting.

I only blame Michael for her death. Felos and Greer are just accomplises. The defense of Terri was often bungled and in most states Michael would have been declared unfit to be guardian due to his conflicts. Florida needs to clean up their law before they become the killing ground for unwanted humans.
My wife, my adult children, and I all have living wills and durable powers of attorney. I've had mine since before things relaxed due to the experience we had with my granmother 20 years ago
Micheal Schiavo isn't necessarily a murderer, he's just ignorant about ethics.
Yes it's a photoshop, it's not real. But the reality of the implied image is what many at FR were asking. For the executive branch to violate the law and use state police/national guard forces to illegally remove someone from a spouse, no matter what you think about Michael Schiavo.
It doesn't matter now. She's gone, as is the post which someone went whining to the admins about.
