Theresa Marie Schindler... May Daily Thread 2005 CALL TO ACTION: Our Fight for Justice Continues
Various Sources ^ | April 3, 2005 | floriduh voter

Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.

I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.

There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.

The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.

I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.

Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.

PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.

Thanks, FV

What a generous gift.

Every time I see Bobby Schindler I want to break down in tears. Something about the way he looks makes me want to go and give him a big hug!

"Just left a message with CBS at 212-975-3247: Do not proceed with a movie to glorify Michael Schiavo's murder of his wife."

PERFECT, Phil.

I also, left a message, but if anyone would rather talk with a "real person," the message on their machine said that you should call between 10 - 11:30 a.m. or 2 - 3:30 p.m.

I went to amazon.com & searched George Felos as you suggested & gagged; positive review from Alan Colmes (Hannity should lose him), and another gag post from a "regular person," who said after reading this, she would get a living will.

The trouble is people don't know that many lawyers, and "health" people will tell them that starving is extraordinary means (rather than ordinary care), and they won't tell them that they could die a painful death.

Here's a story & info on how to get a "will to live" from the National Right-to-Life:

The Will to Live
When Marjorie Nighbert entered a nursing home after having a stroke, she did not expect to be starved to death, but that is what happened when she became a victim of her own "wishes."
Like many people, she did not want her life to be prolonged when death was imminent. So Nighbert created a durable power of attorney (DPA), in which she gave her brother control over medical decisions in case she could not make them for herself. And according to the family lawyer, Nighbert said she did not want a feeding tube if she became terminally ill.
When Nighbert fell ill the nursing home followed the orders of the DPA and denied her food and water for two weeks. But then something unexpected happened: She asked to be fed. A court battle ensued, and the court ultimately upheld the nursing home's decision to deny Nighbert food and water. According to the judge, Nighbert was not competent to ask for food, and to give her food would constitute "extraordinary means."

Nighbert died on April 6, 1995.

Excerpt from:

http://www.feministsforlife.org/taf/1995/winter/wiltoliv.htm

To prevent people from suffering the same fate as Marjorie Nighbert, the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) has created the Will to Live. This differs from the living will by being based on a general presumption for life.

It is also much more detailed to avoid ambiguities that could later be interpreted in favor of death. Currently, the Will to Live is complete for fourteen states: Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Washington, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. The other states are in various stages of preparation and will be completed soon.

If you would like a Will to Live for one of the states mentioned, send a business size, self- addressed, stamped envelope to:

The Will to Live Project
419 7th Street, NW, Suite 500
Washington, D.C. 20004.

P.S. If you don't live from one of the listed states, you can order a copy, or download it from NRTL website, and use it as a guidline.

I'm home from Terri's Memorial Service. There were 800 plus in attendance, some spilling onto the lawn. Fox news is showing portions of it now. I've never been to such a gathering.

The service was heard by the spillover crowd & media outside on speakers. Applause broke out every time Father Pavone spoke about juditical tyranny and about who the real Judge is.

A Vietnam Vet mailed Terri a Purple Heart stating that Terri was a victim of domestic terrorism.

This is just going to get worse for those who did nothing to protect her.

Monsignor Malanowski blessed me since I couldn't take Communion as a non-Catholic. The service was about the Pope and about Terri. Terri passed on Easter Thursday per Father Pavone. Father Pavone read to us his last words and hymn he sang to Terri before she passed; so moving.

The media not allowed in the Church were to our right as we entered the Church. Fox News was allowed in.

Left a message as well. We do not watch CBS anyway, but if anyone will post a list of sponsors, we'll be glad to boycott.
I refuse to buy anything with the name Florida on it until they change their laws. We can make a difference.

The Tampa Tribune is at this link: www.tbo.com. I just got home from Terri's Memorial Service. They are having a reception right now. It was a long mass and since I attended the reception before the mass, here I am.

There are new bumper stickers that are now all spoken for. TERRI WAS MURDERED (in red w/white lettering).

The reason that the lefties are focusing their attack on Tom Delay is because he is EFFECTIVE.

Looks like he's OUR kind of guy.
