A Few Prayers for Texas Cowboy!!
The Horse's Mouth | 08-Apr-05 | Tom Eaker

Prayers for TexasCowboy!

TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.

Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.

So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.

Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!

Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

Gato, if that MOAB doesn't send a shiver of fear down Al Queda's neck, then they're just too stupid to be afraid.

Problem is, it's us that's too stupid to build any beyond the handful of prototypes.... Unless, we have something even more "exciting" to demo wherever a few of Al Queasies, as I like to call them, gather together to issue their fatwahs and plan their jihads.

Yep, when we deployed the (smaller) daddy of the MOAB, the Daisy Cutter, against the VC/NVA, after they changed there pants, they complained to the UN that we were using nukes. IIRC we used a few DCs against the Iraqis back in Desert Storm. Better for intimidation than actually destroying stuff... hard on the eardrums, even of troops dug into slit trenches or in bunkers.

Yo, G of B.....are you avoiding me? I've bounced back and forth between here and the Finest and you are nowhere to be found. That's alright, go ahead and ignore your big (as in elder) sistah. Little Sistah still loves me (I hope). Anyway, I know T.C. loves me. He told me so many moons ago. Twas on the cruise of the Mobius with Capt. OfMagog.

Today while I was hooking up the trailer to haul some hay to a friend, I said a prayer for you. Tomorrow I will say another, perhaps while I mow the pastures, or peel the skin off of my knuckles fixin' fence,...or when I pet a little paint mare I have...while I smell that paints skin...I know you love the smell of a horse,...hell your a Texan. I talk to God all day long...it doesn't matter what I am doing. Dan Seals, a country singer-songwriter once wrote...I think God must be a cowboy at heart, He made wide open spaces from the start, He made grass, and trees and mountains, And a horse to call a friend, ..And trails to lead old cowboys home again.

May God bless you,..May he make his face to shine down on you.

Yep! I can tell you're a songwriter!
You wander into the meadows of my mind and ask God to join us there.

Not many people know horses have a distinctive smell, and, if they do, they don't particularly care for it.
To Texans it's as delicious as the smell of that first pot of coffee brewing in the morning.

Thank you for your prayers, TS.
May God keep you and hold you.

Well.............Hello. I'm watching the perennial car chase in Calif. on FOX and wishing the guy would stop already, because I have to get out of here and go to Huntington (1 hr.drive one way). At this rate I'll be dark o'clock getting back home. How are you little Sistah?
