The difference is that THK is a tasteless skank and Laura is not.The thing that made Laura Bush's jokes so uniquely funny was precisely the fact that she is known to be a wholesome, somewhat prudish woman of great moral character.
That said, I just cant believe people are so upset.
Sometimes I wonder if there isn't some truth to constant claims from liberal's that conservatives are uptight prudes.
