Researchers: Gay Men React to Scent Like Women
By E.F. Winslow Posted 5-10-2005
Its Official. They really are Girlie Men. Scientists in Sweden have found that a compound taken from male sweat stimulates the sexual area of the brains of gay men and straight women, but not heterosexual men. In the study, which has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academies of Science, scientists monitored brain topography while administering varied scents to a group of 12 heterosexual men, 12 homosexual men, and 12 heterosexual women. They reported a correlation between the reactions of the womens brains with that of the gay mens brains in the presence of a chemical derived from male testosterone.

Wow! Good point!
However, women don't react to smell of shi* the same way Gays do.
Utter and total manure.
This has been covered on three other posts.
There is nothing provactive about this other than for homosexual advocats to push their sypmpathy "born so not our fault" agenda.
There is NOTHING credible about this study or the findings.
The fact that any news agency reported this only shows how irrelevent their newsdesk is. They might as well report Hitlary clinton met with space aliens to discuss her 2008 presidential bid as serious news.
This study is garbarge whose sole purpose is to gete homosexuals doing the study more grant money.
Q: In which army would you find Pavlov's dogs?
A: The Salivation Army, of course! :-D
Don't ever try any homosexual behavior then. Sounds like you get hooked on things easily. LOL :-)
Good point about the beer - I could use one, in an hour or so!
I don't know why people in general put such stock in whether homosexuality is "genetic" or "a choice." Several behaviors, including alcoholism and obesity, are said to have a genetic component. My answer is, so what? Those behaviors are deemed to be unhealthy and are discouraged.
Maybe people are trying to make an analogy to race as an "innate characteristic." But race is not behavior, of course.
I thought gay men were attracked to fudgecicles.....
I can't see how any logical person could come to any other conclusion. Political Correctness has taken over the scientific communities. Doctors and professionals today are being taught sexual preferences is all genetics, hardwired from birth.
Society is reinforcing inclinations. And don't take it as gospel that it's a good thing.
The gospel is quite clear we all have desires of the flesh and we must not act out of all these. Just because I feel like something, does not justify my acting on it.
No, it was botulism. Bad meat in the can . . .
Sorry - please remove if that was going too far.
The reporting of the study is the biggest problems. The people who did the study said it did not prove anything about whether people are hardwired or not. It is the twisted reporting that is trying to say that it did.
Which is the simplest explanation?
Because it is the basis for the liberal argument for promoting gay rights. Their effective campaign to advance this myth has created sympathy among moderate voters to supporting laws protecting gays. They have only fallen short in the gay marriage debate. But as far as health insurance and other areas, they have been quite effective.
Who says there is a simple explanation.
"Could it be that homos are conditioned to get excited from the smell of male sex organs ? Naw, it can't be that, it makes too much sense .."
You know...my wife has a particular perfume that works really well for me. Do you suppose I have a gene that causes me to react to that scent?
The brain reaction to the scent can be learned...from simply being exposed to the scent in question in relation to the sexual sensations experienced in relation to the scent.
What they did not report.. the smell of feces will actually give a gay man an erection.
Most guys, when the step in something at the park will scrape their shoe on the curb... a gay guy will stroke the bottom of his shoe with his finger, sniff it, and remember those wonderful times at the bathhouse.
