Sheesh--sounds like you are looking for an argument. No--I don't need the definition to believe in anything. My belief comes from my faith in Christ and what the bible teaches. Hope that is OK with you.

Absolutely. I'm not looking for an argument. I'm just giving you my point of view that I do not need to believe in demons to know that evil exists. And that just because a word like incubus exists does not mean the actual creature does. My faith in Christ tells me there is enough problems in the world without making up more.

I believe anyone who has the Holy Spirit can never be possessed or attacked in this way.

I can tell you right now, from my own personal experience as well as that of many others, that those with the Holy Spirit can indeed be demonized ("possessed" in the Exorcist sense is very, very rare, and I agree, does not happen to those truly in the Spirit) and attacked in a physical fashion. By trusting Jesus Christ and invoking His Name and His authority, we can break any such attack; however, the fact that we can end an attack in Jesus' Name does not mean that we are automatically protected from it beginning in the first place.
