This guy is apparently a phony. Maybe that explains why the link doesn't work anymore.

BTW, I was not referring to the very few "mysticists" who have written the Torah and done all that comes before. I was referring to mysticists of replacement religion.

If the Ark and its original contents are found, it will be a good thing for Israel, IMO.

The Ark is actually lost in a huge US Govt warehouse somewhere in DC.

I kind of liked the quick bit of wordplay in the third film, in the catacombs below the church/library in Venice:

"What is that?"
"Ark of the Covenant."
"Are you sure?"
"Pretty sure..."

Gee I don't know, we'll be in Russia on June 7th, and I'd hate to be stuck there if Armageddon breaks out. Could he wait a couple of weeks?

Larry Kasden was the screen writer for Raiders of the lost ark.

George Lucas wrote it. Kasdan and Kaufman were the script doctors who polished it up for production.

No, no, no. The Ark was sealed in a wooden crate by the US government and put in a warehouse. Didn't you see the movie?? ;>)

The History Channel says the Ark is in Somalia, or some North African country. The History Channel wouldn't be wrong, would it?

The History Channel is affiliated with ABC News. Does that answer your question?

I loved that shot -- the endless warehouse. What a perfect ending.

It's probably been nearly a decade since I've watched Raiders. I ought to rewatch it. Given all the reading I've done since then (and all the freeping), I know a *lot* more about the history and politics of the time the movie was set in. I'll be better able to savor Spielberg's digs at the Nazi scum and the Vichy worms.

Hasn't that been the job of the Ishmaelites since Abraham's times?

And Raiders was written by George Lucas and Phil Kaufman, not Randolph Fillmore.

I remember reading that Lucas named the Indiana Jones character after his cat.

>No, the other Ark

I'm inclined to think
that some Freepers have acquired
both the Ark and Grail.

I will not say who,
but notice some Old Timers
haven't gone opus . . .

According to the movie, they are having their "top men" working on it.
