Lord knows I am a fan of GWB, but sometimes he appears to agree with whoever is in the room at the moment.

Before the Alamo you were the one running around saying that an ageement between the Texans and the Mexicans was necessary for a permanent peace. You pushed for Texans and Anglos to be evacuated from most of the area north of teh Rio Grande claimed by Mexico. For the sake of Peace!

Sam Houston called such arguments "Heavy Breather's Idiocy".

No, and read this slowly.

It takes both sides to agree to a permanent peaceful resolution.

How that occurs, whether at the point of the sword or at a conference table is irrelevant.

Both sides must agree that it's a done deal.

Now was that too hard to comprehend?
