Is Kasich a TRUE conservative?
I've heard of the guy, don't know much about him.

IIRC he was a great fiscal conservaitve and a driving force in balancing the budget in the mid 90's
He has a show on FNC on Saturday at 8:00 p.m., "Heartland" (in addition to filling in for BOR from time to time).
Personally, I can't stand his show -- the way he talks reminds me of a third-grader told to "read with expression!" Since I can't stand it, I seldom catch any of it, but once in a while I do. He hasn't sounded noticeably conservative, but he also seems to prefer the sensational as topics.
Wasn't he supposed to have been a member of that rather questionable gang in Congress Condit ran with in his spare time?
I'd vote for Adolf Hitler if he rose from the dead and ran against DeWeenie.
