Yes, I am aware of Audrey's business schedule right now as I stated. I attempted in the past to contact Forces unsuccessfully, but that may have been my problem at the time. My situation has changed recently so will try again.

You might want to grab Gabz about this. She is apart of Forces now. Ask her in FReep mail, or just give her a ping.

Why not quit smoking?

Why not quit driving an SUV?

Why not quit hunting, or enjoying a gun collection?

Why not quit drinking coffee?

Why not quit owning a pet?

Why not quit barbecuing?

Why not sell my property? Why not quit my job?

Why not just stop making personal decisions?

Why not rid myself of my computer and the Internet?

Why not divest myself aircraft?

Why not give my John Deere away?

Why not junk my dirt bike?

Why not quit eating meat?

Why not quit enjoying spirits?

Why not quit giving my opinion?

Why not just die?

To all of the above, because I don't want to quit living the way I prefer to live legally and without intrusion to any one else's way of living.

Let me guess, that's too much to ask for isn't it.

Well, no, that is not too much to ask. As an R.N., licensed but inactive now, I have just seen so many people die of emphysema and lung cancer. But, hey, I don't want to tell you what to do. It was just a suggestion. I wouldn't want to give up my pets, SUV, opinions, life, etc. either. ;)

People die. (that's a PERIOD)

My aunt died of lung cancer at 44 years old. She to was a nurse, did not smoke, nor did her husband or her parents before him. If she was not in her smoke free home she was at the smoke free hospital or at her smoke free church. DEAD AT 44 YEARS OLD without smoking or being around smoking. Go figure. I don't know how she managed it.

As an R.N., licensed but inactive now, I have just seen so many people die of emphysema and lung cancer.

Son of a gun, I used to be married to a nurse!

After being married for two weeks I cacked from an aortic dissection, only to be revived by one excellent heart surgeon.

I was to find that my 47 year old heart was as healthy as an 18 year old's and they couldn't understand as to why I has the issues I had. Well, I am healthy as can be again, am less my wife (who claimed to be able to put one to death without a trace as to why they died) and my Malamute which was put to sleep by her while I was in surgery.

Gosh, I love to interact with nurses.... ; )

Also, my cousin DEAD at 53 years old. Died 3 1/2 years ago. Death bed words to her 24 year old daughter; "I never smoked, I never drank, I never did drugs, I never whored around, there was only ever your father. Here I lay dying at 53 years old. I probably should have lived a little more dangerously.

I have done a decent amount of research on the non-smoking issue. There is more manipulation of facts involved than I care to get into with you. Do a little research - it is all about money - NOT HEALTH.

Meanwhile, there is an 83 year old that lived with smoker's for 75 years, first her dad then husband, and is the healthiest person I know, next to me of course.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.-- C. S. Lewis

I have updated my FMCDH (From My Cold Dead Hands) sign-off with the addition of (BITS).....Blood In The Streets, which I foresee coming soon, due to the enormous increase of the Marxist progressive movement being shoved down the throat of this failing REPUBLIC through the Judicial tyranny of fiat law, the passing of unconstitutional laws by the Legislative and Executive branches of our government and the enormous tax burden placed upon the average American to support unconstitutional programs put forth by Marxist ideology. I do not advocate revolution. I only think of what I foresee.

We should just let New England and New York break away from the union and become part of Canada. Or they could just form a new country all together.

Just call it New Canada.

Wow, SheLion! I had no idea how much tax Wisconsin already slapped on cigs. I don't smoke, but my DH does (politely, not around me; though I've never insisted he do that.) Smoke Free Wisconsin was just trying to get another whole dollar added on as tax here in WI and use it for healthcare for smokers, but it didn't pass our legislature.

Boy. When Socialist Mayor Dave of Madison sees MA doing this, he's gonna be on it like a chicken on a June Bug! He's constantly trying to get special "Madison Only Taxes" passed so he can buy his beloved trolley cars that NO ONE is going to ride. Yeesh! Thanks, MA! I owe ya one! :(
