That's a matter of the makeup of the jury. You may remember that Orenthal's jury was largely composed of under educated black women. If the composition is the same, he'll skate. No prejudice, just stating something that is well known by now.

Umbrella Man will file for unemployment and haul in a bunch of tax-payer money---I mean, how is he supposed to find a job that he is trained to do, that pays like his last one?

Stu & Lennon got ambushed by some tuffs one night in Liverpool, I think, and Stu got hurt, but he wasn't fighting Lennon.

That happened as well but Lennon also allegedly kicked Sutcliffe in the head in a jealous rage.

Don't hang him. Just put him in prison and get him off my TV. Hanging a pervert will make TV completely unwatchable.

They will not convict. The reason is that the people bringing these charges are proven liars under oath and husksters.
The mother is a welfare fraud.

You can't have all this dubious history, your children saying they lied under oath and somehow get a conviction.

CAN he sweat? Or did he have that ability cosmetically removed also?

You know who we should worry about, don't you?

Geraldo! I have heard him on both Hannity's radio show and O'Reilly's radio show in the last two days, and he ended up YELLING at both of them before the interview was over...

I think Geraldo will be in the same looney bin with Michael, if MJ tries to commit suicide...

MJ won't fare well in state prison. From what I've heard, state prisons are far rougher than federal prisons. Can anyone add to that? Not because of first hand experience, mind you.

The hard part is coming up with REALLY CLEVER tagline---!!

LOL--just kidding, but it can be fun to make taglines to fit your mood, or the subject du jour, or something that makes other posters look twice...

HAVE FUN, can't wait to see your first tagline...

they will think of all those big brutes in prison and be afraid to send him away - the irony is of course the MJ was the big brute to a bunch of little kids.

Have not followed this disgusting granfaloon mess at all, but, it's the weekend, and I'll take the Laz option (proudly posting since 1998 w/o reading the article).

I think he's going down. (doh!)

I just heard Judge Napalitano on Fox say that there are 8 women on the jury---John Gibson said that one would think that women would be really angry at a man that would hurt children, so the jury would be stacked against Michael...

But, Judge N. said that it is just the opposite--that women on juries are a lot harder on women...that they usually give men breaks when it comes to kid issues...

Go figure...

I am not a lawyer, but I think they allow prior acts because pedophiles never prey on just one victim.

But two years ago, the US Supreme Court struck down California's retroactive law for victims of child molesters. They let out about 800 child molesters out of jail because of the ruling. Anyone who is molested prior to 1988 is out of luck in California.

I interviewed Dee Dee Ramone many years ago. Very sweet guy when he wasn't on drugs and/or alcohol. When he was, it was another story.

I don't know. I once saw a TV program where they kept one of the Mafia guys in a Federal prison and it was basically solitary confinement in a really small cell.

It frankly struck me as qualifying as cruel. I would rather be executed.
