Byrd has won every election by a landslide, but it appears he may have his work cut out for him. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito could give him a run for his money. Current polls give Byrd 46% and Capito 43%. The beauty of this is Capito has not announced a run for Byrd's seat. Byrd is so desperate that he has Sen. Obama raising money for him. Irony? By placing the Rebel flag on Byrd's Klan Suit, you are making a false assumption, namely, that the Rebel Flag is racist, when everyone knows it is not racist.
If Ford and Co can't keep Willie Herenton from winning elections in their personal feifdom, then how in God's name do you expect them to win Tennessee.

I suggest you review his votes from the ACU. Junior is very much a liberal 'Rat. His name is synomous with racism and corruption in Tennessee, and he most certainly will not win our fine state.
Ford has an ACU rating of 21 last year. The other Dems had 13, 42,43 and 56. So how is that Conservative?

Ford is not conservative. I am in his distric so I know of what I speak. He may talk a good game but he is a LIBERAL from the FORD Crime family. The rest of the state hates the Fords with a passion. No way he wins. His uncle was just indicted for bribery (John Ford the TN state senator).

That stupid move on his part was over FIFTY years ago!Attack Byrd for being an out of touch liberal sycophant with a big mouth and I completely agree.But let the Klan diatribes die.He has totally repudiated that part of his past and I think its petty of conservatives to keep beating this dead horse.
