Having selected a few juries in my life, inteligence is not a requirement for jury service.

In fact in some situations LACK of inteligence is sought out.

(see those infamous Miss. pharmacutical cases)

And all the child porn seized from his house? Is that enough?

Jackson may not be off the hook yet. He may face a civil suit where the guilty bar is much lower, and Jacko will have to take the defense stand.

Don't you think it's possible that these accusers are simply extorting him?

I don't know--like I said, I'm just inclined to go with the wisdom of 12 independent jurors who sat through the entire trial.

How terribly sad for the children he bought.

Their lives are in danger and it's not just that he hung his little boy over the balcony railing.

12 independent jurors just decided, unanimously, that there was not enough evidence to convict.

Darn Right!

Same as the OJ Jury!

They will find some other insignificant stories to yammer about. Remember the stories about a "missing blond girl" are now a very important staple for the 24 hours cable news, and out of the hundred of missing people every week, there should be some missing blond girl somewhere.

And yes the Hurricanes season is already here and I cannot wait anymore to watch the Hurricane stories starting from one week before it hits shore till three weeks after it is gone (extreme sarcasm).

On egood thing about the timing is that it takes attention away from the MSM's attempt to create the public sentiment for a pullout timetable in Iraq.

Yes and no.

Out here the transcripts are available, so they can be read and re-read. OTOH, the jury saw the witnesses in living color. MJ may well have (read probably) did molest someone. The question before the jury is did he molest this someone and hold him and his family captive at a mall. You can't convict on 'he's probably done this sometime'.

Let your heart not be troubled. If he is indeed guilty, and has been in the past, and has been gotten off, his arrogance will increase to the point that he will become very sloppy. He will get nailed in a way that no jury will be able to ignore.

You know that Michael targets his victims, his handlers check out the families precisely for past events like this, so he knows their word will not stand up in court. He is very calculating, as most pedophiles are.

Precisely, but sometimes people slip through. We know of at least one family that got a huge settlement from Jacko, who knows how many more there were? Now, Jackson has a get out of jail free card, because no prosecuter will risk his career on a second trial.

The real problem is that there is no way Jacko is going to change, and there is no possible way that anyone is going to be able to prosecute him again.

That is the real tragedy of this case.

You put quotes around the wrong word. Young and black need to be the ones in quotes.

It's just an attempt for the average schmuck to get near a star as if that would somehow equate to having a life.

Not guilty is it? Well, now the garden needs some work.

I find it odd they were saying this is a conservative jury.

My ASS!!! This is a typical liberal california star struck hippies. Smoke their weed, crack whatever they do, just don't do the right thing. This group of jury has to be stupid and uneducated.

It makes me sick that someone as disturbed as MJ walks. Yet again, celebrity buys his freedom.
