You can ask a hundred eyewitnesses to a shooting and the only thing they will be able to agree on is that the gun was about four feet long and weighed about 300 pounds.

Police Shoot Man at London Subway Station

Passengers said they saw police pursuing a man who appeared to be of Pakistani or Indian descent. Some said police shot him when he tripped.
But one witness told the British Broadcasting Corp. that police "pushed him onto the floor and unloaded five shots into him."
"He looked like a cornered fox. He looked pertrified," Mark Whitby said.
Whitby said it didn't look like the man was carrying anything but said he was wearing a thick coat that looked padded.
Another witness said there were at least 20 police officers involved in the chase.
"The next thing I saw was this guy jump over the barriers and the police officers were chasing after him and everyone was just shouting, 'Get out, Get out!'" said Chris Wells, 28.

More and more British police need to be armed, ironically, because of their ban on guns. Naturally, the criminal element in Britain want guns more than ever-- especially the fully automatic kind.

I read a var sticker not to long ago it said,
"It is God's job to forgive the Terrorists, it is my job to arrange the meeting, US Marine's."
A few years ago there was a Prime Suspect mystery in that fine series with Helen Mirren, one of the later stories...shot in London...at one point the cops converge on the Thames and find a body. Looming in the background is what looks like a huge, huge blue mosque under construction. I saw this after 9/11, but don't know exactly when this segment was filmed, but I saw that mosque and had a sense of how far London had gone toward accomodating Islam and my jaw hit the floor. Presumably recent events indicate a sea change, except perhaps the Lord Mayor of London, who can be counted upon to make a public statement that humiliates himself yet again.

"Police surround London mosque-resident to radio"
"LONDON (Reuters) - Armed police surrounded a mosque in east London on Friday and told residents to stay indoors, a resident told BBC Five Live radio."
"Tried to shoot him in the central nervous system. Shot him in the head."
I believe the head contains elements of the central nervous system.
I recommend all police go for such a shot, whenever they're trying to disable an Islamic terrorist.
