Hi evrybody!!!!
Finally I`m here!!! I`m in NYC. Next week I`m going to come to Washington DC... And then I`ll come back to New York... (Then I have to come back home...).
I just want to say you that I LOVE YOUR COUNTRY! It`s beautiful.
I hope I`ll see George W. Bush in DC...
See ya FRiends!!!!!!!!
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! I`m in America!!!!
You're certainly free to do with your time as you wish,
but I'd recommend the Air & Space museum and Smithsonian first,
along with the major monuments, the National Archives, Congress, White House, etc. etc. etc.
If you happen to get a glimpse of Dubya, fine...
but I wouldn't waste much time going out of my way for it...
there are waaaaaay too many other sites to see...
BTW... WELCOME!!!! Enjoy your visit!!!!!
I need to visit NYC again. I don't remember it being beautiful.. :-)
Welcome to America, enjoy your stay!
And stay away from the tourist restaurants. Insane prices. Crappy food.
Go to a dumpy-looking bar on 46th and 8th called McHale's. Authentic (not manufactured) old NYC atmosphere, no tourists (other than yourself), and the absolute greatest burger you'll ever eat anywhere.
Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay in our beautiful country. (Sorry NYC and DC are so HOT right now, though!)
Welcome! When you hit my hometown (D.C.) do NOT miss the Smithsonian museums (there are several, all located on the mall with the Washington Monument on one end and the Capitol on the other). The museums are free and fascinating. My favorite is the museum of American History.
Seeing NY and D.C. is a good start, but it's like saying I have experienced Italy because I went to the Olive Garden Restaurant once (which, by the way, was incredible).
Pinging some NYC and DC-area FReepers...
Benvenuto negli Stati Uniti; saluti da Washington, DC.
un calabrese
I hope you can join the D.C. Chapter in some event while you are here.
Welcome to our (all Americans) home. I just spent two and one-half weeks in your beautiful country. You also have much to be proud of and much to be grateful for.
Welcome. Have fun. I'd like to be in NYC right now.
BTW - I love Italy. Where's home?
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! I`m in America!!!!"
At least you have managed to curb your enthusiasm.
Welcome pisano.
Welcome to the US! You will love NYC and DC. Lots of other great places to see, but thats a good start if that is all you have time for.
I would love to visit Italy some day. France, I will avoid like the plague.
What are your plans in NY and DC?
Why aren't you in NY?
I must confess, I love ALL the smells. I also love the people, the commotion, the different languages, the genuine friendliness.... heck, I love ALL of it!
(But smelling roasted walnuts in the winter became one of my favorites. :)
We're back in Texas now, but my memories of the City always make me smile...
Welcome to the USA! If you want to really see America, check out Kentucky! ;)
Daves not here man.
