Hey, I have been posting this on the internet all night...I need everyones help please! This is the story...sorry its kinda jumbled....WKLQ is on the air right now, and they need to be stopped!
Update: I just listened to KLQ for like a nano second and they said they are still planning on killing the dog. Two children have drown in the last week in this area, and they want to bring "awareness" to parents by showing how easy it is to drown. They are not only killing a dog, but they are gaining national attention for their radio show by capitalizing on the tragic deaths of children. These people are the scum of the earth, and should be taken down!! Even if this is a stunt, it does not give them a right to make money and gain fame off the deaths of children.
PLEASE help us!! Call the station, tell them they suck...call their sponsors and tell them you will never use their products again! Just do something, please! The info and original post(s) are below. Thank you for your help!
(last nights post) I just watched the news and KLQ is maintaing that they ARE going to kill the dog tomorrow morning. The police are looking into it, but we still need your help. Let's protest the crap out of KLQ!!!!

A local radio station is DROWNING A DOG to make people "more aware of drowning". Please help me protest this and help save this poor dog (or any dog) from death!

These people are going to drown a dog, to show how easy it is to drown? That's not legal. It also doesn't make much sense, but never mind that now. Don't tell us, tell the Humane Society, Police Dept., etc. in your area. Heck, call PETA, not that they really care about animals, but they could use some could publicity.

This has to be the absolute WORST morning show "prank" EVER! I hope the police have been notified about their sick plans. The station managment should be notified that if they continue to employ these criminals, they will pay a price as well. Are you sure this is really going to happen and not some sick joke?

Pictured above is Mindy. Mindy was rescued by us from an animal shelter in the area. Mindy was scheduled to be put to sleep first thing in the morning at the shelter. On Fridays show we are going to take Mindy to an undisclosed location and see how long it takes her to drown. People tend to ignore tragic events like we have had this week, and hopefully we can bring more awareness to child safety and show just how quickly a life can drown.

Of course it is a joke, if they did this they will be in jail before noon, there are laws against animal cruelty.
