Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I was surprised 5 did not do something, being Karen Hughes' old station.

Oh yeah, I double dare (matching their maturity level) them to march on Tom Delay. From what I understand counter protests are being put together by Freepers to meet them at stops along their little caravan to D.C. They think this is 1960? They are going to be sorely mistaken.
The MSM truly hates when they are forced to acknowledge reality by the little people. They'll go back to deluding themselves into the notion We're the minority, then they'll be in shock, as they were 2002 and 2004, when 2006 circles.
I'd say the level of fury, disrespect and hatred at the MSM is matching near that of the terrorists and that is something they do not get AT ALL. Nor do they get that despite all their attempts to hide, lie and disguise...we're still here and more committed than ever.

At and around the Yellow Rose, people are milling around watching the goings-on. Right now, there are several hundred there. Some boys about high school age walking in the direction of Pirate Field just yelled, "Cindy, the fucking whore, get out."
It appears there are a lot of spectators around, simply watching history in the making.
A man a block from the Yellow Rose carrying a white cross, yelled out to me, "Be sure you send this to your friends in Iraq." The sign he carried said "Real America won't wimp out." When asked, "What? The photo?" and he said "Yeah, I want them to see it."
Now here's a U-haul truck beside the road that says, "A mother's loss, a nation's pain."
The railroad crossing bars have been going off, up and then down, up and then down, but no train.
People are pulling on a rope that has been tied to the gong on the Liberty bell at the Yellow Rose. This is happening frequently.
This is certainly not what I expected, not this level of passion and intensity on both sides.
I love Wendell Goler. He seems to be on top of things.

I hope your friends have taken photos of the sorry turnout of the opposition, to put the lie to what (I cynically predict) will be the media's distortion of today's events.

Well we just have to keep killing them in the ratings and if FNC won't cooperate, perhaps there are some wealthy enterprising people out there who would like to start a broadcasting company for us! We know how to hurt them now we just have to keep it up! FNC is crushing them in the ratings, now if they want to keep that up, they'll give us what we want. FNC is not perfect, but I can't watch the others at all. This storm is also killing us!
