Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

They can stall, but if they start dragging it out much longer it's going to become obvious even to the maroons who support them. People aren't paying attention now anyway, they are focused on Hurricane Katrina and the upcoming TV season.
I don't think the Dems are willing to risk the criticism and backlash that will happen if they delay for too long. The only thing they'd have in their favor is an ineffective Republican leadership willing to exploit their drag-assing.

Roberts setting Kennedy straight on actual words in an EEOC memo. Telling Kennedy he has to read "the prior sentence". Kennedy blubbers he wants to "go on" as his time is getting short...

You know, after years and years and years, I am getting REALLY SICK of liberal whining about "oppressed" minorities, women, disabled folk, transgenders, snails... etc -- glad I'm not up for the Supreme Court, I simply cannot imagine keeping my mouth shut in the face of Kennedy's blathering on and on and on about the same old Liberal BS.
