Roberts: Day Four Set to Begin
On Thursday, the members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. continue with a third round of questioning. Then six different panels of out- side witnesses deliver their views on the professional and personal suitability of John Roberts to be appointed Chief Justice of the United States. This testimony will take the entire day.

I think it is bad that they gave Schummer extra time to ask questions, but then to let him give his conclusions instead of asking a question.

Judge Roberts, the Administration hurt you by not releasing the documents that we wanted. Also, you did not answer enough questions on actual cases. What Chuck is saying is that we need to know how you are going to rule on things that matter to us. What I am hearing is that there is no conservative jurist who will ever get our vote. We had better keep the majority in all areas, because they will trample us into the dirt at the first opportunity.

Can someone confirm that Roberts agreed that children of illegals deserve an public education?
OK, I think Schumer just dismissed the possibility of a filibuster, saying that unlike Estrada, there is enough evidence to try to make a decision.
