The real crime is the investigation taking how many millions of our tax dollars and 2 years. He should be prosecuted for theft and dis-bared ineptness.

The MSM doesn't mention Rove voluntarily asked to appear before the GJ back in July, while judith miller stonewalled.

Is there any significance in who testifies last in a grand jury investigation or is it just a matter of scheduling?

Have no idea and also something the MSM leaves out, Rove has never recieved a target letter from the special prosecutor.

It is my understanding from another thread that targets rarely testify. BTW I also understand the Wilson's have not testified.

Since Judy Miller testified the other day and it became apparent that things don't look good for HER, not Rove or Libby, this is the new mantra of the left and MSM (is there a difference?).

Should I be suspicious of your post because A) you signed up only this last July and B) you're posting, almost word for word, the Democrat talking points as put forward in the New York Times? I certainly can understand why a perfectly legit poster might hold the opinion you do, if you assume that the target's are Rove, Libby and the White House. If, on the other hand, the targets are Plame, Wilson, the NY Times, the DNC, et al, then it's a totally different thing.

And that's why I think the MSM and the rest of the institutional left have suddenly turned on this special prosecutor.

What if he decides that what Rove, Libby and the rest did was not a crime and was, in fact, perfectly normal function for government employees pointing out the conflict of interest and suspicions about why and how Wilson, an avowed enemy of this President, would be selected for a mission he was supremely unqualified for. Take that a step further. He may choose to bring indictments against those who conspired to misuse the justice system to damage their political enemies.

Ending that practice would be worth 10 times what this prosecutor has spent, particularly if it ends in a frog march of Nancy Pelosi, Joe Wilson and Pinch Sulzberger into federal prison.

I have this feeling that Karl Rove had taped his phone conversation with Matt Cooper from Time Magazine and he was waiting till the end to give it to the Grand Jury and prove that he was totally innocent from this whole CIA leak “non –story”.

No need for the fact and truth, it is the "defeated liberal media" after all.

On Fox they said this morning that two reporters who spoke with Rove said Karl may have heard the Plame info from a reporter. I would have put much more weight in that statement if the words "may have" were replaced with "did". All news reports on this subject use a lot of "may" "could" "possibly".

I find it highly unlikely, with two weeks to go in the GJ, that Rove's attorney would allow Karl to testify knowing whatever he says now that contradicts what he has testified to before could be used against him at trial.

My guess...the GJ is throwing a party for Karl to thank him for his testimony which was crucial in allowing them to vote for indictments against Wilson and a disgruntled CIA agent (OK, maybe that is a stretch).

I have tried to follow this story but there is something I do not understand. I know he could accidentally, but why would Rove or anyone else, deliberately out a covert CIA agent? Also I read she had been out of cover for 6 years so it wouldn't have been a crime to say something about her. It appears they are continuing to beat a dead horse, why?
