People in Austin are very fearful about Rove's situation....

Well, heck yeah. Look who they have as an example for a grand jury prosecuter -- Ronnie Earle!

His demeanor when he left may tell us something -- smiling, waving, or gloomy, looking concerned.

Of course given Rove and the WH, it could be either one covering for the other. We just don't know.

i can't see fitz not bringing rove up on charges. if he doesn't the press will ruin him. he knows all he has to do is send out the bad news and rove is over. fitz can then run for the senate in ill. rove would be cleared but no one will know it. can't beat e'm charge e'm .

It would be highly unusual, to say the least, for Rove's lawyer to let him testify voluntarily if he thought Rove really is a target. It would be crazy, in fact.

Rather beat the forgery to death. Even after FR caught the IBM forgery, Dan STILL insisted it was real...Really, really real just like in the Fairy tail.

I'm betting Hillary and Mandy are behind this whole Rove thing and it started when the Dems were wheeling and dealing to hire Wilson and Berger for the Kerry campaign.

It's what Hillary does. When she an attorney on Watergate, she put out a brief on "How to Take Nixon Down". It was deemed both illegal and unconstitutional.

That jotting note is really interesting. Reporters usually keep a notebook to keep things in sequence. Of course, not that she couldn't simply rewrite another notebook inserting the notes in their proper place. It may be that the court will not see the notes as being valid because of this. We have strict rules in our profession. No erasures (text must be crossed out and written above),pages must be numbered and dated and people present.

I think there should be an indictment on the basis of having the nickname "Pinch". Little snot (I'm snarling) should be put in a dress...

LOL...I'd like to see Ronnie Earle in a dress, too! I can see it in my mind's eye and he looks a lot like those old timey grannies with the floral dresses who carried their handbags on their elbows and always had a hankerchief in their hands. White gloves and pearls would be nice, too! **snort**
